User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
After reading other reviews I realized I wasn’t the worst case. I scheduled a shuttle pickup and 30min prior to the pickup time, the customer service called me and told me the driver got in an accident and wasn’t able to come (they didn’t even have someone else to fill up) I had to pay double the price to get an Uber to the airport in order to catch my flight. They did not reimburse the extra money I paid. Just imagine if I didn’t make it to the airport on time, would they reimburse my air ticket money for me? I don’t think so. Or in a worse case imagine if I got on the shuttle and got in the accident with the driver, what would happen then? If you’re not in a rush, let’s say, you’re booking a shuttle to pickup at airport and send you home, you can consider using their service. Otherwise please select a more punctual and reliable company. I booked a ride pickup from airport to my Airbnb, during my ride the driver called his next pickup customer (that he was supposed to take him to airport to catch a flight) that he’ll be there in 20 minutes when instead the GPS says there’s gonna be 30min until we arrive at my Airbnb, not to mention some extra time he needs to drive to the next customers’ house... I was in shock. Terrible company with terrible work ethics.
I was supposed to be picked up at 5:35 am today to head to LAX. The driver never came. I called the phone number on the reservation and the driver said he was already on the highway to LAX with another passenger. I had to order an Uber. While in the Uber, I scoured the website for help. There’s no customer service number at all. I tried to cancel my reservation and get refunded and I was not able to because “I was already on board” and it was too late to cancel. I called the phone number on the email receipt and got an automated message explaining that Shuttle to LAX “was able to keep rates so low by cutting overhead like having a call center”. I called the driver again and he shouted at me and told him to stop calling. I’d used the service before but never will again.
I really wanted to like your app and your services because the idea is great and it’s affordable, however, I have to give 1 star because: * My pick up time was rescheduled twice and at the end I waited for 40 minutes after my flight arrival. Then I called to customer support (waited another 10 mins) asking for a chance to be picked up faster and got a reply that they r STILL looking for a driver for me. * App crashes few times during my usage * Online customer support was inefficient as they were keep replying me “you have to press that button upon arrival”, nothing useful, no proper customer service. * At the end, after waiting for 1 hour (!) I cancelled the ride and lost my time. If you would like to keep your business going (bcoz the idea is nice), you have to train your customer service reps to be nice and helpful (especially online support), make sure that your app is working properly and make sure that you actually have enough staff like drivers to accept orders from your customers.
This company shouldn’t be in business, they don’t know how to provide service After booking private van to lax 3 days before the traveling date .an hour before the trip they send txt that we are on schedule and 10 min before the pick up time they cancelled the trip and I didn’t know because they sent an email . They didn’t even bother to send text message or call When I called t confirm it was cancelled , I was on hold for 30 min then they hang up They don’t care about people time or they could miss flights I waist there was zero star . Stay away and save yourself the headache
I’ve been using Shuttle2LAX services here and there for a few years now. Recently they developed the app and although a few tweaks, it works well. I can communicate with the driver and support easily. I don’t mind ride sharing back when it was a van, now that they have smaller vehicle options I enjoy it more as it reminds me of an Uber pool type perk. Drivers are friendly and I can tip after my ride via the app :)
