User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I just recently downloaded the app and it’s honestly an amazing concept! I know you guys are weekly working on updates but I just wanted to share my opinion about things that could be added. I think asking for more information like “interested major”, “extracurricular activities”, “awards” and more for both Highschool and college students. It feels weird choosing a college and choosing a random name to without any information. Also maybe providing us with more information about each college when we click on. Colleges that are less known would then be able to get more people to interact with them as well. Apart from that I’ve tried texting some college students and the goal of the app is amazing!
I love the concept of the app- talk to people who actually have gone through the application process, get insight, and build connections. However, the response time is too long (perhaps something to indicate that a student is online would be helpful), and a lot of the students are actually alumni, so they obviously don’t remember a lot about the application process (so maybe get more younger students involved). Overall, I think it’s a great concept, but needs a little bit of work.
I think this app is on a good start. Things to improve it include maybe having a filter, like geography, type of college (selective, not-as-selective), as well as other factors to refine the search pool for potential applicants. Details on each college would be nice too, since there are many on the list and not everyone knows them all. Overall, definitely could improve, but liking the effort.
I actually stumbled upon this through reddit. When approached with this idea it was ingenious. For any other potential buyers definitely buy and share because you’ll only make it a stronger platform! However, I wonder how you can get more collage students to join because there doesn’t seem to be any incentive. But it is still new. It’s a very easy to use app and love it already.
The app has been functional and serves its purpose well. There are minor annoyances (text box sometimes not showing when typing) but it’s usually fixed after the message is sent. I would recommend creating time stamps for when the app was sent, and also some way to verify the student’s information.
