Awesome App. My kids loved it.(so did my wife,mother,father,cousins.) As for the grinch saying that it took up "too much space" maybe it's time to give up your Nokia GoPhone. You also complained that since you HAD to delete it(nobody asked you to do that) that it didn't restore your purchases and you have to pay again next year. Let me tell you,if $3.99 for ALL of those wonderful scenes is too much to see your children happy then maybe you should rethink your priorities. Merry Christmas.
I absolutely LOVE this app! I teach first grade and have two small children of my own. I have never seen so many kids get into the Christmas spirit! I downloaded the whole app and it is totally worth the purchase! I have been contacted by many teachers and parents wondering how they can "catch" their own elves! I have read the other reviews about crashing...I have not had that experience (knock on wood!). Very pleased!
Super fun app, and a great way to give the kids that extra bit of magic around the holidays. And it's also fun to have a few drinks and put the elves into all sorts of wacky situations! Never had any crash issues like many of the other reviewers, so perhaps the update fixed that.
The magic seems extremely real, exactly as shown in the videos. There were no bugs either. But you only get 2 scenes for free, which are in my opinion the worst ones, and the other ones cost $1 each and that is EXTREMELY expensive just for 1 scene. The second thing I found bad was that it has a logo and on every video and I couldn't get rid of it. My daughter realized it's fake right away. Get this app if you are willing to pay a $1 every scene and have a logo printed on your videos to make it (unreal).
We have been a loyal Santa spycam family since the app first came out. Our kids loved it so much and we were patient with the developer as they worked through bugs in the app. The first couple of years it seem to be improving and they made things fun on their Facebook page. This year, in addition to forcing you to re-purchase things you had already bought, everything about the app looks and operates like a Chinese knockoff. We are very disappointed that it seems to have gone backwards. Maybe the first owners sold it off to someone who doesn't know what they're doing?
