Rocket Sky!

First: If you want a challenging game that will stretch your mind to the limits, this isn’t that game. But, overall it is a fun game to play. VERY simple controls (just tap the screen) and easy to understand. There is really no end “goal” which means you could keep playing for ever. I guess technically once all your upgrades are maxed out that would be “beating” the game. Second: I have reached a point where I can’t advance anymore (988,000 ft? Miles? KM? Inches?) and would like to see new planets with new levels and rockets. But I’ll hope that they eventually drop an upgrade to do so. I haven’t found any interest in playing any more as there is nothing left to achieve. I have everything maxed out, and no worlds left. Now the game just sits and waits for an upgrade. Third: There are a lot of AD’s for a free game, but it is free, and we want new levels so someone has to pay for the time to develop them. So it doesn’t bother me personally. I don’t understand the hatred some people have for a free game having AD’s. I mean if you spent nothing then just delete the game. You lose nothing at all, but oh well.

Ive been playing this game for about 20 minutes and It’s been addicted, I like how the point of the game is to get higher into the Sky, and you will get better Rocket-ships and different worlds and the higher rank you Get in the sky that’s the coins you get in that round all in all this game is fun and addicting!!! The cons are if You want to get double coins for that round you watch a add which I thought was fine until it played another video and another one, after that I think you would have gotten three times the coins. And what I don’t like is to get new Rocket-ships instead of paying with coins you have to get a new rocket from getting a certain point in the sky. Which I don’t like because I still have the first rocket and you need to get 1500 or something like that for the second rocket. And to get which I don’t like because I still have the first rocket and you need to get 1500 or something like that for the second rocket and to get The next world it’s like 26,000 which isn’t good and will take a long time!!

I read the reviews before playing this, so I already had low expectations. However, after 25 minutes of playing, I’ve found most the issues addressed by previous reviews. Ads after ads, inconsistent gameplay, glitches after optional ads. And to top it all of, the game presents incredibly monotonous, linear, and just boring gameplay. Only 4 upgrade options that increase in price every time you buy one. All the goals for rockets and locations are absurdly high. I haven’t reached the second location yet, and yet I’ve found myself spending over 5 minutes only to reach a fraction of the requirement for the second location. My suggestions: add some obstacles that you have to slow down or speed up to avoid, increase gas efficiency, lower the requirements for goals, add upgrade options that correlate with obstacles (Ex: protection, anti-obstacle gun, warning system), maybe add a story that increases incentive to advance to new locations, add a payment option to game to reduce ads. Right now, this game plays like a new game: boring, too many ads, poor gameplay. This game does show potential to be a fun a phone game given it improves gameplay and finds other ways to make money than endless ads.

I’ve been playing this game for about a week now off and on. I will play for about a half hour. Wait 3 days. Then play again. All around I enjoy the game. It’s fun to see how high I can get and keep upgrading my rocket. Especially with the offline multiplier when you open the app after being offline. I figured out that’s the best way to make lots of money. I enjoy it so far but there are a few down sides. For one... the game is not consistent. What I mean by this is that even if you do the exact same thing as you did the round before with or without upgrades the odds of you getting to that same point or making a new record is slim to none. I tested this too. I used the same rocket for all three tests. I didn’t upgrade it once. I would be sitting on the launch pad and hold the screen to the point where the rocket would blow up without letting off the gas. I did this three times and got three different heights. I feel like it should be the same height every time since there were no changes to the rocket. Second thing I have to pick at... the ads. Literally every single time you finish a round an ad pops up.

This game seems really fun playing a few minutes of it, but soon adds started popping up all over the place mostly 30 seconds long. When your on this app you spend about 60% of your time watching adds and only about 40% actually getting to play the game. Also I was in the car without WiFi and I wanted to play the game. The problem was you need WiFi to play an offline game. The only reason you need WiFi is so you can give the makers loads of add revenue by watching an insane amount of adds. I ended up deleting this game after about ten minutes because it was a waste of my time just watching adds, and I’d rather play another game that doesn’t have an absurd amount of adds like merge planes. It’s kind of like rocket sky but you don’t have to watch adds and you can play it offline. That’s the type of game I’d rate 5 stars unlike this sellout game. If the producers reading this I’d suggest removing some adds and let it be playable offline. You might not get a lot of add revenue off of one person, but you’d get a lot more money from tons of people.
