The app does everything you need it to do, but it’s brutally slow to move between functional areas (like home page to bill pay) and between steps on some tasks. Only use it when you have to - it’s faster and less painful to run upstairs and use the desktop browser than the mobile app.
I love this bank so much! Everyone that I come in contact with at the bank treats me like I’m family and that’s very rare in the corporate banking world from my experience. Anytime I need assistance with anything, they are quick to assist me in making sure I’m taken care of. I love this bank and look forward to reaching my financial goals with such a great company.
Sorry, but that's how I see it. I had high hopes for this bank. Very friendly, but it has the feel of being run by interns. This app is a bit of a joke. No Touch ID. There is a dollar limit. No problem, most banks have s monthly cap on deposits. Except Reliant's is per CHECK. Have a check to deposit that is over $2500? Get your shoes on, then, because you're going to the bank. (They will temporarily raise the limit for one check if you call them and ask "Mother may I?") because "security." Then canceled my business ATM card. I was leaving town, drove by after hours to make a deposit (couldn't make it with the app, over $2500), and ATM told me the account didn't exist! Took a follow-up visit to learn that they cancelled the ATM card due to not enough use - and NEVER informed me. Because, security. Despite at least 4 requests, this bank will not work with Mint Bills to allow the account to be checked. I'm afraid to ask, but I figure "because security" will be the reason. The bank simply isn't ready for prime time. Neither is this app. Get it only if you want to go down memory lane to visit "Ancient Appland."
This app is so far behind the standard! No Touch ID to sign in, nothing is intuitive - you have to click "Next" between every step, when I make a deposit and take a photo of the front of the check the app used to automatically move to take a pic of the back but that's gone, it takes at least 3 clicks just to log out, I could go on ... I keep thinking someone will get this app updated but it never happens. Mobile banking is the only kind of banking I do anymore and this app is making me think about changing back to B of A. I'm so frustrated!
My wife and I banked with a very large chain for a long time only to be continually let down with their services. This mobile banking opportunity is perfect. It's easy to use, flows well, loads in a respectable amount of time, and shows me the most important aspects of my accounts right away. Well done!
