I’m big on audiobooks. A good half of my NAS is filled with narrated audio. This app falls short in every respect for this type of content. It will not remember current chapter if you force quit the app, nor it will quick 15s advance/rewind as most ubiquitous audiobook apps do, nor it has playback speed control and equalizer. In fact, Qfile has everything this app has. So, frankly, I don’t know why would Qnap offer this one. It might be OK for music, just not good at all for audiobooks.

I’m very happy to detach from iTunes and now able to share my music. iTunes however has 2 features I’d wish QNap would incorporate. 1.) create a column to see the song play count 2.) create an alphabet column to speed up the search of songs or artist by the first letter vice endless scrolling

It will play music from QNAP but thats about it. Needs a lot of refinement. Will only play certain audio formats if selected in a particular way. For example if i choose artist and then a song it states that cannot play this format (.aif), but if i choose folder and select he same song it plays. ??? Also when you tap the song to play, it adds the entire album to now playing. ??? App does not synch ‘now playing’ list with qnap only ‘playlist’. This would be helpful for queueing music on your desktop to be played on the app or to resume playing on the app.

Can be annoying when listening to continuous music over multiple tracks. A break of bout 5 seconds is inserted between songs. Please stop. HD Player does it properly. Thanks

Please fix sorting Chinese songs. I thought it’s in pinyin order, but it turns out to be in some weird sorting mechanism. It would also be great to have an option to select the quality during transocoding.
