Slimpod

Like this app but keeps asking for password to open which is very annoying when you are settling down to listen to the pods before sleep as it takes your mind away from it which goes against the point of the pods. This is extremely frustrating!! I’ve personally lost no weight whatsoever since starting it 11 weeks ago ( it’s a 12 week course) but it does help me to drift off to sleep! Pretty expensive for just that though at nearly £100. Then it’s sprung on you during the 11th week that you can purchase Slimpod extra for a mere £9.99 a month for as long as you want/ need it. Extremely expensive in the long run. I’ve asked twice if you can still access the Slimpod gold when it ends but still awaiting a reply!

This programme is absolutely amazing. I have tried so many other ‘diets’ for over 40 years!!! This isn’t a diet. It’s a change of mindset, and the support from Sandra and her team could not be improved. Some people seem to have had problems accessing the pods; if this happens then the customer service team will solve your problems; they are so helpful. The support mechanism is not just limited to the organisation....members share and support each other, which means we can share experiences. Some people lose very quickly, as with all diets, while others are slow losers....like me! But this programme really does work. Took me over 3 years to lose 5 stone....went from a 22/24 size to a 12! Never in my life have I been this size. I was aiming for size 16, but the pods took me down further with no extra effort from me! And I have NEVER felt deprived of any food.

Ok sometimes it crashes but it is still a fantastic app. Full of helpful information, being guided to change your mindset regarding food, healthy choices, building up regular exercise and much more. These changes begin within a short time, steady but surely while being supported and reassured. The Facebook group are a great support too. Hearing others stories is so helpful. Listening to Slimpod for just 10 minutes a day is life enhancing and should be available for everyone. Diets make you think of food constantly but with this app you forget about it. Though it costs to join it is worth every penny & really does work. It’s not a diet but a way of life and so wonderfully relaxing while listening to the pods. Just try it, you will have no regrets. The only time this doesn’t work for me is when I stop listening! It’s a 12 week course but you have lifetime membership to the app and materials. There’s an additional membership for when you’ve completed the 12 week course, which I’ve not signed up for yet but probably will as it’s cheaper than WW. I did find all the emails and videos a bit confusing to start with and the App has had some technical issues but Customer Services have always responded quickly and helpfully. I’d recommend this to anyone who hates ‘diets’ and just wishes they could eat what they want, like ‘normal people do’.

After going up and down with weight and never getting on top of Thais problem I simply decided to give this a go, almost as a last resort. It’s a very clever mix but in my case it has certainly worked. The first phase of using Slimpod saw my weight go down by at least a stone. It seemed so relatively easy so I decided to go with the next phase. That has been harder because I have not really taken on board the full extent of the messages that are being conveyed through both video and written resource material. The essential message of know yourself certainly resonates with me and I shall carry on using Slimpod extra.
