User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
Since the update a few days ago, the app lists my home club incorrectly. I have a single club membership so each time I go in I need to manually select my home club so I can register for a class. There is no way to change it. Even when I choose another club as my favorite, it still defaults back to the one listed incorrectly in the app.
I am so happy with my gym, but the app is not as great as it could be. For instance, in the account settings, I'd like to see my monthly bill payment or make changes if I need to and I'm not able to do that. Also, it would be helpful if I (or the initial trainer) could put my Smart Start plan in the system so I can access it and keep up with it on my phone. Trying to keep up with the paper at the gym while I'm learning how to do the sets, etc. is cumbersome. I tried to figure out how to add the activities to my fitness band app or find one that will let me log in what the trainer gave me to do (instead of in the Notes section of my phone) but haven't had success. Finally, the app only shows the group type activities and it would be helpful if I could see at a glance when open gym is for basketball because my son always wants to go and I have to call and check to see if it's available for him. Those are small things but they would make the experience much better!
I haven’t been able to check in through the app. I have tried deleting the app, refreshing my account and changing password several times. The people at the club don’t know what to do.
This does not work as advertised. Even though I’ve registered for two classes — the home screen says that I have no registrations. Even though I’m supposed to be able to check in from my phone, that is never been possible. The interface is confusing. In the class list, it’s difficult to know which one you’re registering for and checking in for. The app puts the register now and check in now below each class. Even though designwise — it appears to be grouped with the class above. Not thoughtful UX. IMO. Wondering why There has not been an update released in the last few weeks.
The new version of the app is terrible. The timeline lists the wrong time and schedule of classes, no longer recognizes that you're registered for a class and won't let you check in, often doesn't even recognize that you're IN a S&H gym, extremely slow to load the class schedule, and is now more tedious to search future class times (used to be able to open calendar view and jump ahead, now can only arrow through each day). The previous version was fine, this update made the app worse. If I didn't need it to register for classes, I would get rid of it.
