User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I’ve had this app for a while and it’s so useful to have our trusts antibiotic guidelines to hand on my iphone. When it works it’s fantastic. However, the app stopped working after an iOS update about 6mths ago. It just froze at the Rx screen when I tried to open it. I was just about to leave a review slating it because of this when I thought i’d try one last thing - deleting and re-installing the app..... ta da... working perfectly again. Hope this helps other people, as reading other reviews, I’m not the only person who has had this issue. Note to the developers - perhaps you should include this advice in your app description.
Not a bad app but a bit clunky and basic. I have also experienced the issue described by another reviewer where the app wouldn’t load past the splash screen and I had to delete it and reinstall. I had contacted the company about this but had no response. There’s not a lot of choice for prescribers really - if your institution chooses this app then you don’t have much choice but to use it. It could be better but it could be worse.
This is a good app and is useful on the go and it can save precious time. However, the app has to stay open to download guidelines and you can’t view guidelines once they’ve been updated. This means that if you’re on-shift, you lose your access and might not be able to redownload them until you next have Wi-Fi.
The app is useful for getting the information needed, even when out of reach of the internet. It would be helpful if downloaded guidelines could be updated in the background, ideally automatically, as the app is ‘dead’ until the update completes.
I find that this is handy to use both in practice when looking for the appropriate alternative and also as a revising tool.
