My brother and I have been playing the game for about two years now. Over those two years we have watched the introduction of (now) well integrated game features like heroic defenses and the armory. From time to time I’ve found new updates to equipment or defenses can throw off the balance of play between rebel & empire - for example, I can remember a time when a small group of rebels with a hero and medic droids could take down my fully equipped base with ease. These periods can be frustrating but after time are eventually remedied. In the end, I appreciate the developers’ efforts to renew gameplay and strategy through consistent updates. I’ve read of complaints regarding the length of time it takes to upgrade to higher levels. Of course I wouldn’t mind shorter upgrade times, but I don’t find them a huge impediment to gameplay (nor is the upwards trend in upgrade time aberrant from other games of the same nature - i.e clash of clans). The newest feature of the game, the weekly events, makes unlocking characters/equipment easier and more efficient than was ever possible with world conflicts. Hopefully developers will keep these events beyond their celebrations of The Last Jedi release.

This used to be my favorite mobile app game. Now that my base hit level 9 almost all of the building upgrades are so outrageously expensive (1 million for level 8 but 3 million for level 9; a massive leap compared to previous price increases) that I can't save up for stuff like turrets anymore because of how much I lose when I'm attacked. The only ways I can get the necessary resources are to spend way to much of the day attacking and staying logged in or to just waste real money on massive amounts of crystals. Furthermore, the game still works pretty well on my iPhone 5S, but each upgrade whether it lists "bug fixes" or not makes it run WORSE on my 5th generation iPod Touch! Both still get the bug of frozen training queues in barracks. Sometimes attacking and freeing troop carrier space fixes it, but other times I have to spend gems yet again just to get them training again! Furthermore, the new war system is a lot of fun, but we need a way to remove troops from the defensive Squad Center when someone gives us something we don't want. The regular SC can just be emptied by doing an attack, but I have found no way to empty the defensive version. Lastly, this game has an option to automatically add players to squads when the number of members drops below 30. This option hasn't worked in over a month, and my squad is dying because we can't get new members automatically or recruit new members through social media.

I played this game a while back and I don’t remember much of it but now that I play it again I really like it although I would Like if you could donate Resources to your fellow squad mates as that would be a huge edition also one thing to make defense more Better is that like in the campaign when You destroy or get near an enemy barracks the Troops In that barracks come out and I just think it would be cool like maybe you could have some units on defense mode and some on stand by like that. Also For some Reason Squad wars are sometimes not balanced at all. For one You can’t do that much about it it’s all about what the other team picked and I’m at the bottom of my squad at Level 5 and Sometimes all I can do is Try to get outposts and give my team a boost and maybe Attack Imperial Scum But I really like how in squad wars it’s not just 2 Sides bashing their heads against eachother it’s more strategically sided than power related as the outposts can decide the Fate of the war so no side has truly won before the war is over unless you wiped the other team out and got 45 uplinks it’s also neat that you get Data fragments after each war which helped me unlock certain special units

I was not unhappy with anything in this game up until the new barracks defensive update. I did not like the sounds of it, but Disney never has listened to those who play. Every single update since then has either been so full of bugs that it crashes the game or so tilted in favor of the empire that it takes away the fun of playing. In the barrack defense update, the rebs got vanguards that hardly do any damage and die if looked at wrong, while the empire got snipers with med droids. How fair is that? It seems like Disney is not going to listen to our pleas for simple fair play like the game used to be until enough of us quit the game completely, and it hits their wallets. Most players on the rebellion side are screaming “fair play,” but no one is listening. It is really simple. Even the score for the rebellion on the sniper/vanguard problem. (Why not fill our barracks with snipers and theirs with vanguards, and then see what they say?) AND fix the squad war unfair matchup issue. Let me just ask you this question. Why does a rebel squad who is ranked in the top 1,000 get matched up with 15 of the empire’s top 50 squads in a row??? If Disney cannot fix these two huge problems I will probably join the mass exodus of players. This is sad since I have been playing since before Luke was introduced as a hero...just months after the game first came out.

First off I have been playing this game on and off for 2 years and haven’t paid for ANYTHING - you can actually slowly build up without paying. Unlike games like mobile strike where it’s impossible without paying. Secondly: you can get to SEE your units fighting! It’s like Clash of clans, but with Star Wars units and way better. You can build 100+ units to attack, so the battles can be quite big if you have lots of infantry. The only downside is sometimes there are balance issues (like right now the Rebel jump troopers are a little strong) but so far they have fixed any issues with a patch. Normally and Overall it’s pretty well balanced. Better than clash of clans and it’s Star Wars units and you can pick either side - wants not to love? Oh, and then constantly are releasing new units for both sides so it doesn’t ever get old - or hasn’t yet! There’s still so many units I haven’t unlocked yet, and more keep coming to make it interesting. Some are just minor: like collecting ___ blank item will make make your units fire a different colored laser which does 50% more damage (for example) while others are new units. Fun game
