Meditation Oasis App

This app is a treasure trove! It provides more than 50 guided meditations that last anywhere from about ten minutes to half an hour. There are choices suited for the beginner and some for those more experienced with meditation. There is a great selection of subjects such as relaxing, less stress, healthy body, etc. Many of them are accompanied with lovely, soothing music, and there is at lease one track of music only. You can choose to let them play in order, and you can always pick back up right where you left off. You can download the tracks for offline listening or label your favorites. Look for extras on many of the tracks such as help for the beginner, comments or extended music. Thanks to the developers, and to Mary and Richard Maddux for an outstanding 'must have' app.

I'm grateful that Meditation Oasis had this app created! The site is great but this makes using it anywhere and everywhere so much more accessible. I've been listening to various episodes of their podcasts for a couple years now. What a tremendous gift when a close friend recommended this site. I used the sleep meditation to get to sleep faster when I cannot calm down at night. It helps me every night, even when I do not listen to it. It has taught me how to calm down and go to sleep faster. Also great anxiety and stress meditations that are short and teach you how to better deal with your anxieties. Overall a great app and selection!

The right voice, the right words, the right feel. I feel cared for, accepted, relaxed. This app has helped me finally “get around to” nearly daily meditation. Thanks to Mary, I know I’m doing it “just right”, even I f m lying down, or get distracted, or fall asleep, etc. I have noticed a difference in my life, more calmness and acceptance. Being a pretty hyper person, this is really a boon. Thank you Mary!

Great app to start meditating with, but plenty of episodes for all experience levels and users. I enjoyed both the guided meditations, and the unguided sessions for when I want to do my own thing. My all-time favorite is “resting in the source”
