I can get over the fact that some of the features are still missing but the optimisation is TERRIBLE and I cannot even finish work that I started on a desktop. And I am using the 3rd gen iPad Pro so the processing power is not an issue.
Ps on the IPad doesn’t match minimum requirements for any photographer. No Raw editing not even any option to open edited Raw from the Lightroom. Budget Affinity Photo can, other apps can edit RAW files on the IPad but Ps can’t. Moreover Adobe says that full Ps on IPad isn’t what we want but actually many of us bought iPad for Ps. Not even showe timetable when raw support will come into IPad even files from LR mobile to IPad Another point is 8 bit. Almost year ago Adobe said “ Photoshop on IPad not Photoshop for the IPad” but what we get isn’t good even for a smartphone. Shame on you Adobe
No proper lasso tool, no magic wand, no effects, no smart filters, no Apple Pencil sensitivity preferences, Apple Pencil finger tap doesn’t switch to eraser, but makes fit to screen function.. why?. It was advertised as Photoshop for iPad. It feels like a shareware application you could get on a cd-rom attached to a CG paper magazine back in 1998... and here Adobe wants you to pay monthly fee for this ridiculous joke with a Photoshop icon. It’s not a photoshop.
I have a desktop version which I know pretty well. Although the second I opened iPad version I was shocked how little tools this program has... one sample round brush with some settings cannot replace textured brushes and variety to choose from. Merge frisco (which also lacks) with this Photoshop version and you ONLY THEN have a desent tool for drawing.
Really disappointed with this app. Seriously Adobe - are You guys joking? You can’t use this app for professional work - and it’s not even close to full Photoshop. Really think twice before promising something. Gonna stick with Affinity apps - at least I can use my photoshop brushes there ;p.
