The reasons I play games: They are like simulations of real life where you can govern your cities, character design, character traits, economics, strategy, tactics and many more things. You can treat it like “just a game” but that’s where the turning point in becoming a good gamer comes in. You realise that the game can only react in the way that you use it, learn from it, adapt etc. So it’s a great way to analyse / adjust patterns and habits in your own life such as spending, management etc. Obviously you can just DO this in real life and some people will argue that gaming is counter productive and instead of actually doing those things, you’re spending your time on a digital game, with no real currency or value that will physically change your life. Which is where balancing your time out is important. Being present in life is crucial. I agree with putting your phone away for a few hours or even a full day at times and just being present in the moment. I equally agree that at times we also need to get away from the present and just paint on a canvas. For me, one of those canvases is SoS. Easy to use, no money spending necessary, active players, alladat but ultimately its a good all rounder

I just want to put it out there that this game and a lot of these city builders are very unethical they cause people to compete against each other with their wallets on the table. To the people that support money grabbing games like this and spend thousands and thousands. I suggest you look else where to throw your money about, because you are just demonstrating how the wealthy can throw their money away and it does not do you any justice in the real world. Instead of supporting a game that’s only clear purpose is for people to compete with real life money, donate your money to charity instead of making a couple of devs who put this game together in two weeks millionaires. This game essentially has a structured hierarchy in terms of how much you can afford to spend without damaging your life. I don’t understand how laws on gambling are strict and they enforce advertisements like “Know your limits” but a game like this which could potentially cost you everything if you are egotistical enough to believe being better than someone else in a game will make you somehow feel a sense of accomplishment I would just like to let you know that does not exist. The app marketplace needs to do something about these games.

This game is great, there is many things to do to keep you playing. It is extremely addictive as well. Although, in your alliance chat, it logs everything you do and can be annoying sometimes, I suggest that you have an option to turn that on and off as alliance leader. I also think that when you add someone as a contact, the message that it automatically sends is a slight bit weird. I think you should have an option to send that or not. Overall the game is great and I suggest downloading it!

Now, I know the object of these games is to grind and grind and grind and....well you get the idea. This particular game is appalling in that you can be attacked by anybody (usual) but unlike other games where only a percentage is taken, EVERYTHING you have is stolen/looted, call it what you will. And as there is obviously no handicap in these games, you are purely there to farm for all the fuc*wits who spend money. Here is absolutely no point playing this as no matter how much you build up it will eventually be taken and you have to start again. Bear in mind it takes weeks to build up the very smallest force and resources so you are literally wasting your time. He so called developers only want you to spend huge amounts of money to try and keep up. Do your self a favour and dont. Dont give these imbeciles your hard earned cash. AVOID

It’s a spenders paradise, such is life. Main issue is the CONSTANT crashing. You won’t play more than 5 minutes before being forced out the app. Just imagine if that happens while you’re being attacked. Great! If they fix that issue, then it’ll probably be 5 star review. Until then, nah. You’ll probably suggest clearing cache, reinstalling the app, but after your latest update the force closes have increased tenfold. Real quality of life addition. This nonsense is gonna get me killed. Additional edit: crashing consistently now plague zones added more unnecessary graphical assets. Sweet. This is fine. With every update it crashes more. Why say my device is compatible when it clearly isn’t? Would it be to purposefully mislead by any chance? Latest update jan 2020 causes the game to force close even more regular now. Now you don’t even have to touch it and you’ll get sent back to your home screen. Wonderful quality of life addition. Patch notes promised fixes lol. I’m dumb for falling for it.

It’s been six months since the outbreak. Six months of terror, isolation and grueling hardship. Most folks didn’t make it. But you did. Welcome to the State of Survival.

The infection ripped across the country taking civilization with

it. Any surviving military or government went to ground. The land belongs to the infected now. As well as any survivors brave enough to stake their claim for it.

Make friends or fight with other survivors. Do whatever you must to survive. It won’t be easy. The infected are everywhere. Resources are scarce and you must salvage what you can from the carcass of society.

It’s a new world out there. Dangerous, yes, but filled with opportunity. Immense power awaits those bold enough to grasp it. But remember to watch your back. It’s fair to say people aren’t quite as friendly as they used they be…

Build up your Settlement to form a safe haven for your survivors and a foundation for your post-apocalyptic empire.

Save survivors to swell your numbers and increase your strength. Locate those with special abilities, they will be the heroes of the plague war!

The zombie disease is mutating rapidly. Learn whatever you can to understand it. Whoever can control the infection controls the state!

There is strength in numbers. Make allies and forge strategic partnerships to survive the horrors of the infected Wilderness. Join forces to pulverize any who try to take advantage of you.

It’s humanity 2.0. Rewrite the rules on how you want humankind to progress.
