I’ve been on Firework pretty much since it came about so I’ve been able to watch it grow as it constantly is. The app doesn’t cater to a specific group. There are comedians, dancers, travelers, cooks, makeup artists, music artists and producers, bloggers, magicians..I could truly go on. I love that it’s open to all of these, has categories you can visit, and doesn’t seem to favor one form of content over others as I’ve seen many platforms do. You can see how the app has tried to improve for its users and still not be “just like the other apps”. I’m excited to see it grow into something more. If you’re reading this, hop on and do whatever it is you do. All are welcome here 😊

In the video editing portion of the app, it’s perfectly usable; however to the person who wants to take their content to the next step, we’d have some slight issues when it comes to more filters (*B&W especially), we’d prefer to be able to post longer videos (up to 5 min at least) and we’d prefer to have a comment section that’s easier to navigate to. In effect, our audiences can interact and we can get a better user experience from them as well. If you guys can nail these simple additions, you guys would fly in no time!

I was contacted yesterday via email to sign up for the content creator program to be paid for creating content on their video app. I signed up for a time slot and they would interview me. Prior to the interview I received an email in which I was BCC along with another unfamiliar email. The email stated they reviewed my file in which I don’t know what information was on there, and I was no longer considered for the paid sponsorship. THEN I got an email and Text message stating that my appt was still at 245. I emailed to figure out if they had sent the wrong email to the wrong person since I had not yet interviewed and nothing back. So I decided to logon to the interview and waited about five minutes before realize that no one was going to answer. Finally got an email back stating, “sorry for the confusion the email was for you. Cheers” WASTE OF TIME. TOTAL SCAM.

The exact same thing happened to me that happened to several others in the reviews: I was messaged by a person on the Firework team twice, urging me to apply for the Content Creator program. I scheduled the interview which was confirmed for the following day. I got a confirmation email that morning, then an hour prior to the interview (that I’d thoroughly prepared for, scheduled my whole day around this “confirmed” interview) I got an email from Angel Amarante that said “after further review of your profile, we've decided to pursue creators whose content better aligns with our current direction.” THEN a little bit later I got a text CONFIRMATION for my interview. (VERY confusing) So I did what I was told and tried to connect to the interview via the link sent to me, After about 5 minutes it became clear to me that nobody was going to pick up. I emailed the company about my concerns regarding the Content Creator Program which was answered which another very vague email which wasn’t helpful at all, and also didn’t aim to fix this issue that they’ve apparently been having for some time now. Very unprofessional

I was emailed and invited to attend a video call with the chance of becoming a Firework Content Creator. I took time out of my day to attend the video call but was ignored every time I tried to log in. I tried for 15 minutes ( ridiculous ) without a single response. I even tried to email them to reschedule and was still ignored. The app it self seemed pretty cool and I was excited to contribute with music, graphics, comedy skits, etc. Sadly, this experience was far from professional and I’m no longer amped about this app. Regardless of the Content Creator outcome, I would have loved to support this app, but this experience has completely changed my outlook on how they do business. I will be deleting my account.
