Moon Calendar Plus

I use this app for fishing. Fishing is supposedly best when the moon is directly overhead and directly under your feet on the other side of the Earth. Fish feed primarily during these two periods for roughly 2 1/2 hours, twice a day. Like most fishermen, I can only fish when I can but with this app I can attempt to plan to go fishing during a fish feeding period or after the fact can explain why fishing was so good last week but not so good this week.

I use this app for planning all of my night photography whether the moon will be part of my shots or not. It gives me great info for dark nights or nights when I can use the moonlight as a natural source of light. Times are extremely accurate and I can customize the data to location specific times as well. Easy to use and I highly recommend it!!

Simple and sleek, but packed with info at the same time. I especially like being able to see the position of the moon and sun relative to each other on a feature that you can slide forward and backward in time. It really helps put things in perspective.

I never write reviews but this app called for it. Just wanted a simple moon app with moonrise/set times, calendar, percentage illumination, and position in the sky; without intrusive adds. None or the other apps have this combination. I highly recommend it.

I don't really have a pressing need for all of the information and data included in the paid pro app, but was so impressed, I wanted to support and reward the developer for such a great app.
