User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
This app is, in theory, great but in use it’s absolutely terrible! Occasionally you are able to book classes, see you booking and cancel classes but most of the time you just get ‘request timed out’. The app is a private version of ‘myFitApp’, basically a custom-branded version of a 3rd party product built by ‘innovatise’. It feels like Fusion went with the cheapest package available which isn’t up to the job. It seems to always be struggling and crashing like the whole system driving the app and website just doesn’t have enough power to handle the number of users they have. It’s a shame because for the short time that the app actually worked it was simple, easy to use and did everything you needed. Now it’s just a lottery as to whether you’ll get past the home screen or not.
It would be a great app if you could link accounts as a family, if you could manage all those bookings without having to log in and log out. I have made my 2 children emails so I can add them on the account, to book the crèche. However when I try and book the crèche for them it comes up with under two and over twos. Which isn’t a problem but when you select over twos, there are 18 selection of children and I have to click on 18 different selection as it gives me all different times and mixed up. If I want to book 10am I have to go through selecting child1 and it will give me 1pm 2pm child 2 will give me a selection of 8 am 9 am child 3 will give me nothing and I click on every single one of them till finally where I can book. The same it’s for under twos it will come up with 10 option of under 2 and it will be all mixed times it’s just checking all to match it all up. My class and they’re crèche, I’m exhausted after looking to book. Also it’s so much time consuming it’s a terrible app I wish it worked properly would make my life a whole lot easier!
It’s terrible! Freezes, Logs you out, doesn’t recognise login details or account details to log back in, reset my password and now it won’t recognise the new password, classes and bookings disappear and reappear! If you’re on a waitlist the app doesn’t notify you or automatically put you into the class if someone drops out, you just stay on the waitlist even when there are spaces in the class. Today I tried booking onto a class and each time I checked back on the app the booking had disappeared. PLEASE FIX IT!!! Questioning my membership - online website booking is just as bad and no one at the centres ever picks up the phone.
The app generally works well, if a bit clunky. Some of the layout needs more thought, e.g. the swimming timetable columns can only be viewed one at a time, and it would be good if the bookings screen header showed the day of the week as well as the date. My main complaint is very simple: the colours used to flag booked and available sessions (green and red, I'm told) look exactly the same to me! Would the app designer PLEASE consult someone who's colour-blind and adjust those colours at the next release.
I had the original version of this app which worked fine. They then updated it and now I cannot even open it without it being “unable to connect to server” - seriously frustrating as missing out on booking classes as have to wait on phone for an unnecessary amount of time by which time the class is full !!! Please redesign your App.
