Sunrise & Sunset Times

As an aquatic technician, today is my last day above sea level before I embark on a three month trial in the prototype XV5 Dolphin Class Submarine. I will not see the sun again until July. This app allowed me to see it rise one last time. God Bless America.

When it works, this is a very useful way to keep track of seasonal solar progress. Trouble is, the latest update appears only to support iOS devices with cellular capabilities regardless of edition of the OS. As a result, the update only loads on my Model 5 iPhone. My iPod and my iPad, both without cellular, cannot update this app, and should the old version fail, I won’t be able to load the new version. Pardon me for saying so, but this update makes no sense!

I wanted to propose to my girlfriend during the sunrise, but I didn’t know what time that would be. Luckily I had this app and was able to propose at the exact moment the sun was rising. Let’s Hang LLC is a lifesaver.

Since downloading this app I have never missed a sunrise. It’s incredible.
