I am leaving this 5 star review for Game freak because of how grateful I am for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. These installments are made to not only catch them all, but to discover a new region in the Pokémon world, new never before seen Pokémon, and unlocking the mystery of the Dynamax phenomenon. It’s shameful to see people only caring about themselves, constantly insulting you and the people who are sticking up for you all because they think you’re lazy and didn’t add in all of the Pokémon, and they yet to give you more backlash for over pricing Pokémon HOME’s beneficial features and the Expansion passes that are yet to arrive this summer and fall. I wish the community you have created were to learn to stop demanding for me. I’m already content with my Pokémon Sword copy and I am hyped to see what Pokémon HOME and the Expansion passes have to offer. Thank you for bringing these games into our world, and I’m sorry that some of your customers have to be so greedy.
I’m giving a 5 star because I’m really loving the new concept to bring old Pokémon to the new game while keeping everything fresh and exciting. That’s said my switch version of HOME works perfect! But I downloaded the mobile version and I get a Communication error and tells me to check my Q&A for my account. The app is too new to have a Q&A so I knew that wasn’t gonna work so i deleted and redownloaded the app on both my console and switch since I answered no to using my mobile device on the switch. Idk if I errored myself by answering it like that but it hasn’t asked me again. I won’t make a big fuss about it right now since it’s only been hours but hopefully it gets fixed soon!
Having played Pokémon since I was 5 and continuing to do so all my life I love this app allowing me to bring up my Shiny Mew and other Pokémon I’ve had since I was little and continue to use them. I love the return of the GTS as well. Although this app is great it does have some flaws glitch wise. But it’s nothing a simple patch can’t fix!
First off it’s great you can transfer Pokémon to newer generation games and all that stuff. However, it’s locked behind a paywall. Basically if you want to transfer your Pokémon from older games to the switch, you need to buy the premium pass for Pokémon Home in order to do so. That’s at least $3 at cheapest Okay so you bought the premium pass, that’s cool; you get access to all the features in home. Oh wait, most of them are not working. The only working feature is probably just the GTS. If you’re looking for wonder trades or room trades, prepared to be disappointed as they do not work. Room trades will always kick you out and wonder trades do not even work when you put a Pokémon in there. It just sits there for hours and hours doing nothing. Don’t get your hopes up for anything special. If you’re going to force me to pay for your service, I expect the service to run without problems. Also one last thing. If you are transferring Pokémon that have been hyper trained, they will be reset to their original IVs, which is pretty ridiculous. Stop altering my Pokémon for no reason. Hyper trained stats should be left alone
Works very well even though being slightly difficult to find in the App Store. Overall works wonders just with a few crashes from the mystery gift section as well as the occasional crash when viewing a Pokemon. Other then that and this being the first day I highly rate the app and just hope those issues can be smoothed out; similar with the guest login having difficulty to change into actual account if start link account has a problem. iOS has to little careful with auto passwords not working on the app well. Still 10/10 GameFreak and Nintendo when the issues are fixed!
