This app is a light meter that specializes in pinhole photography. First, please set the F number. Next, please set the ISO sensitivity of film to use. Finally, in the preview window, please tap where you want to measure the exposure. note: If you do not know the F-number of your pinhole camera, please calculate focal length / pinhole diameter. If you want to use photographic paper, please set to ISO6. Please note that in a dark place, you may not be measured accurate exposure. [Using the Countdown timer] 1. To start the countdown, tap the timer icon to the right of the exposure time. 2. Preview screen will be dark, and exposure time is displayed in white letters. It will decrease one second at a time. *To stop the timer, tap the Close(X) icon. caution: During the countdown, do not close this app, or do not navigate to another screen. Timer is stopped.
The app seems to work ok, giving exposure time estimates based on light meter reading, ISO, and aperture. Custom apertures are possible, f/222 for example, which is critical for pinhole photographers. Unfortunately this app is ad-supported, which is neither disclosed in the description nor shown in the app screenshots. So thanks for wasting my time...
This is a great app. When it works. When trying to change f-stops, the app to crashes. The only work around I've been able to find is uninstalling and reinstalling.
App doesn’t work. Keeps asking to allow camera access but no way to do that.
I love this app! My only problem is if you zero out the f-stop the app crashes when you go to change it again.
This app works great for 3D printed pinhole cameras, and the only thing I would like to see is a selection for films at ISO 125 & 320. Other than that, keep up the great work!
