Pet To Give

I have had this app for years. My “pet for kibble” score was over 50,000. Unfortunately, it does not load anymore. I haven’t seen an actual animal in six months . . . maybe longer. I pet nothing . . . just a white screen and then have to force close the app to pet the next “white screen.” I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling several times, but nothing works. I used to let my kids pet the animals, but again . . . there is nothing to see or pet. It’s a shame because I’m sure many people have already deleted this app from their phone with the assumption that “if the app doesn’t work, then the program associated with the app doesn’t work either.” Please fix this already! I don’t click on this app to see only the advertisements.

As others have experienced recently, I also have not been able to access the app. After days of not being able to “pet,” I deleted the app to see if reloading it would help. It did! However, all of my stats are gone. I was hoping iCloud would have loaded my progress for which I do have apps set up for a backup. Nope. Everything is gone. No big deal since the app is for the animals benefit, right? I realize this but I enjoyed watching my progress grow & show me how many kibbles had been given because of my simple effort. However, I have been “petting” religiously twice a day since January of 2014!!! So to see my thousands of kibbles given deplete to 30 really stinks! Will I continue with the app? Probably because of its purpose. Am I disappointed in losing my visual progress? Completely. I know it’s not a big deal to others since I’m the only one who knew how much I had participated & progressed with this app, but it’s a big deal to me. Oh well. Life goes on. Good luck to those who are waiting for an update. My advice for participants ...keep waiting for an update, if you want to keep your progress; delete & download again, if you want to start “petting” again. 🐾🤷🏻‍♀️😕

I LOVE this app! It's so simple, quick, and easy to use and for just 10 seconds out of every 8 hours or so, you can help feed 3 shelter cats or dogs. I've been using this app at least twice a day for the past 6 or 7 (I'm guessing there) months, have fed a combined total of over 7,000 kibbles (I lost my previous progress when I got a new phone), and have even gotten strangers on Instagram and Petcube to download it. I seriously don't understand why this app doesn't have a higher rating or why more people don't know and talk about this app. Everybody should know about this app and use it! It's simple, free, and you help shelter cats and dogs. Honestly, what's not to love?!? Btw, if you love this app, you should check out The Greater Good website. For one click a day (for each cause), you can feed more shelter cats, donate to Alzheimer's research, feed hungry kids, etc. Definitely something worth looking into if you have a heart and a passion for helping those in need, including animals!

As of 1/5/17 after you pet your first animal the app won’t load the second or third animal to pet. You just see just a white screen with gray box containing a spinning (loading) wheel that says ‘Loading cuteness…’ underneath it. To pet all three animals I had to force quit the app after petting each animal. The screen still looks the same as stated, but if I pet the blank screen it worked for one animal (but again to proceed, I had to force quit the app). What’s wrong??? And are you going to fix this? Tried three different devices and had same problem on each (also, all the devices have all of their apps updated). Please fix the app! It’s really hard to pet the animals twice a day like this and I want to do EVERYTHING I can for them. 😊

I am currently able to pet my Maggie on both my iPhone and iPad. After an update, I ended up having to delete the app and reinstall on both devices which meant I had to download my pictures again. I lost my accumulated total on my phone, but, for whatever reason, it was maintained in my iPad. So glad to once again be able to donate kibble through this fun app. Just wondering why, however, I no longer get notices that Maggie can again be petted. I know I am not petting as often as I could, but I’m not about to set a timer to remind me when I can pet again. I hate to suggest that this feature be reinstated because the last update caused so many problems, but I sure do miss it.
