This app motivated me to practice my putts more and the distance progression is something I didn’t know I needed until I started using it. However, there are a couple minor issues. -the 30’ first/last putt made stat for me says 100% on both for the summary screen, which definitely is not true. -if you switch to another app, say to take a phone call, it makes you start your game over, which can be disheartening if you’re trying to track accurately. -I wish there was a time stamp next to the date on the score list. I play 6-10 rounds of this a day and it would be nice to see them chronologically instead of just listed best score to worst score.
This is a good, fun putting practice app. Makes getting out there fun, practical, and challenging. I recommend this app to anyone who enjoys disc golf. Having said that, the app needs some improvements: 1. The ability to delete profiles. 2. The ability to delete rounds (example: first thing I did was score a test round to see how the scoring worked; but then I couldn’t delete it and it affected all the stats.) 3. Why can’t it track stats for different profiles? What then is the point of different profiles? I want to make profiles to track my progress for different putting styles. 4. I started a round and wanted to cancel or back out to the main menu, but that’s not an option. The only way out is through, or else completely close and and reopen the app. 5. Is it possible to have multiplayer? And track stats of players individually? Numbers 1-4 are must-haves for this to be 4 stars; #5 would bump it to 5 stars. Again, this is a useful app and worth the $0.99. You should pick it up and support folks growing the sport like this.
100 practice putts from every distance inside the circle and you won’t even know it. It’s even better if you grab a friend and use this app as a competition! If you play competitive disc golf, you know that any 15’ putt under pressure is harder than a 35’ putt around a tree when there’s no pressure. If you play this with a friend or two, the app even helps you putt under pressure by using bonus points for various things.
Too sick to play on the course but thankfully my modified DD Recruit is perfect backyard companion, along with performance boosters. Now with this App I can quietly pretend to be Page Pierce for those circles edge putts.
This is a great/cheap/easy way to practice putts from distances BUT I think there needs to be a way to change the distances. Don’t get my wrong, 10 foot putts are very important but being locked to; 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 foot putts is pretty limited. I wish I could push the distances back in increments of 5 feet.
