I play a lot of point-and-click games and this one had a really creative concept that you must change the (elements/scenery) to get through the game. Yes there are areas that are a little difficult, and I love these people who complain because they can’t figure it out and blame it on the developers. The game is made that way on purpose- the goal IS to make it challenging. If you can’t handle it, play bunny pop or whatever.. . I like that it takes time to figure out the clues and that I can’t just rush through it. Plus, there’s always a walkthrough or Ytube if you get stuck. Anyway, 👍🏼Great concept/ storyline 👍🏼Beautiful scenery 👍🏼challenging 👍🏼Relaxing soundtrack Q for developers: there was a part in the game when the leaf is activated, back out a few clicks , there’s patch of grass with the lights flickering as if to click there but it says ‘this grass is too dry to eat’- looked like there’s something behind it. Why is that there? I spent a lot of time trying to work this out... Anyway, great job! Thanks for a super fun game!
I wanted to like this game but it’s just not happening for me. A few of the puzzles have no clues. Like the laser section to frame. You’re just supposed to just sit there and work on it until you manage to figure out the order. That was particularly irritating. But the most frustrating part is using the glass shard to charge the amulet. I’ve been working on trying to make that happen and it just doesn’t. I even went to a couple of sites to get the solution, then tried it and it still didn’t work. I placed it in the correct position and nothing happens. I’m at the last stage and stuck. Either it’s a malfunction or they made it where you have to be so exact that trying just pisses you off. Most games like this let you slide if you place an item close enough to where it should be. This is just ridiculous and a waste of time. Besides that, it’s a pretty and sometimes enjoyable game with nice music, but it really could be better.
I have played every point and click style adventure I can find. This was certainly one of the best of it’s style of game. It got off to a slow start and at first I thought I had made a mistake in buying it, but when I got to the part where you can morph into other creatures I thought it was a lot of fun. Overall the difficulty is mixed. The discrete puzzles tend to be quite easy (e.g., rotate hex tiles to form an image). However, you have to have a very sharp eye to spot some of the objects and in some cases the use of an object is not at all obvious. Regardless, I finished without getting stuck for any prolonged time or resorting to walk-throughs. A fun game and a good bargain for the price.
This game has a lot going for it. They did a good job with the graphics, and by allowing you to change to different animals very creative and change in perspective and reusing the same locations. However, it's just not a good game. I found myself frequently turning to the help function, and never regretted it. It wasn't a case where I should have kept at the puzzle and I would have figured it out. It was always a case of where I had just clicked on the wrong part of the picture and missed a turn, or I didn't know of a map location. Several of the solutions are not intuitive. There's a lot of random clicking to see if items are of interest. And that leads to a lot of unintentional moving around the map because of how they set up the navigation.
Updated review: I just replayed this on my new iPad Pro 11 and it was even more beautiful and fun! Original review: This is a tough game and I usually play advanced level in Big Fish adventures. I appreciate the challenge but casual gamers might find it frustrating. If you have the patience for Myst and Riven, you'll love this. Game takes place mostly in nature (so far) and I'm loving the relaxing ambience. Spoiler: I just turned into a cat and have a new perspective! I was hooked already but now I am really stoked. Awesome game and well worth the money.
