User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
It would be nice to know before downloading this app the you need to upgrade before being able to really use it. Just put that information in the description. It doesn't currently give that info. Other than that I really liked the layout and would love to be able to read it without having to upgrade. Maybe a option to donate would be better. Just a suggestion
