The new MyHome.ie app gives you a customised experience of all that MyHome.ie has to offer on your phone, allowing you to search for your dream home while on the go. The new app has been designed to complement the new range of features following the relaunch of the MyHome.ie website, features such as · Speedy search functionality · Clean look and design · Larger images for a more enjoyable browsing experience . A new login section for users where you can now save your favourite properties and set up alerts so you’re the first to know when a property comes to the market in your area.
User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
The good: It will find properties in a locality you want. The bad: The results show up with large photos for each property, showing only one at a time on your screen. There is no text list or smaller photo option. This requires a lot of scrolling, especially on larger screens like iPads. I would also like to see my results on a map. It doesn't do that... (I thought it did in the past?) The only way to bring up a search map is to do a "search near me" which is not much use if you don't happen to be in the place you want to search. It's become less useful over the years. Needs a rethink!
This turned out to be an unexpectedly great app. Unlike many I've dowloaded, the app runs smoothly on my old iPhone, maybe because of its fairly simple design. It would be nice to have a maps feature, but I appreciate the interface as is and have had no problems thus far. Pretty decent!
How in 2018 can the leading property app in Ireland be this awful? - when you select region the locality menu is blank until you search and then go back in to edit the search - the results returned don’t respect any updates to the search inputs - the sort function (by price, date) just doesn’t work - results from Athlone show up when I search for Mullingar 😂😂
It would be a fairly good app if the ability to sign up/sign in through the app actually worked. <<< biggest bug that needs fixing. Also, it doesn't load the page correctly until rotated one way and then another. Would also like more options to use to sort with.
Beware, the 'improvements' made this app worse, not better! For example, you now have to register and sign in before you can save a search. Being back the old version, please.
