User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I would find the app incredibly useful except, for me it doesn’t upload the daily achievements regularly enough. It’s no good seeing the days progress or downfall 3 days after it happened, it becomes very difficult to then discuss with their child, since they have moved on. If their daily achievements were updated or up to date by the end of the school day then this app would become far more valuable to me and my family.
All it does is provide a messaging service for the school and an absence reporting service. Both of which were perfectly fine under parent mail which the school previously used. The rest of it is just links to the schools website parentpay etc. Mine never worked and my child never got linked so I had to reinstall and am now using my wife’s which my child is on. Messages from school are intermittent, some parents get some, others don’t, it’s totally random and means we are likely missing vital info from the school. Message the school about it...no response like they don’t have a clue how it works.
The user interface is fairly poor. Awkward to navigate, not the most attractive app, and there are some glitches. It is much easier to use than logging on your school’s website, so I am glad I downloaded it and will be keeping it on the phone. Developers - when writing messages to the school, if it goes longer than a few lines, then you can’t see what you’re typing.
I was hoping to get more information from this app than I do. All I get is p1,2 or 3 on the achievements section, which means very little as doesn’t tell me what lesson he got the achievement for. I have found out that those at the school can see exactly who logged them. I would like to see this being put on the parents version then I can see exactly which lessons he is doing well at and can help my child work on those he isn’t
I have 3 children in the school but only 2 are showing. For the two on the app it is very useful. However, there isn’t a way to log out of the app, i.e. I wanted to log out and back in again to see if I could ‘reboot’ to get my 3rd child’s data to appear but ended up having to delete the app and reinstall it. Maybe include a ‘log out’ function?
