User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I really enjoyed the changes made to the last app which allowed me to easily view the forums and assignments for all my courses in one location. With the new app, it appears similar to the web browser on a cellular device which isn't as conducive for on the go working. I'm excited to see what changes come and I am hoping to still have use of the old app for those functions I mentioned above if they aren't incorporated into the new app.
Having this app based off how the website was a good start up idea, but so much is going on in the app that it’s causing too many problems. When I log in to the library and I’m done reviewing something and click back to look at other topics the app kicks me out and have me to log in again. Maneuvering through the classroom is rough as well because I can be working on a forum and when I’m done and click back it tells me I’m no longer logged in and I again have to go log in. Great concept of starting app for students, but need help getting it the way that’s useful to students.
This app will actually let you check all of your assignments, and is much smoother than the APU app. It also reflects your grades correctly, which the other app doesn’t do. The classroom load times are much quicker than even on my PC, and I have a high end PC with great internet, so this comes as a huge surprise. I just started using it, but all of these features are outstanding so far!
It is fine enough if you need to send a quick message or check the forums. However, it is very glitchy so I suggest typing whatever you are posting out in your notes or G-Doc and copying and pasting in case the app suddenly closes on you as it does to me. It generally will save most of what you’ve written but not always. Also, sometime a forum that I’ve posted from the app won’t show up in the forums on the website. I’d suggest using this for quick reference only and sticking to the site for actual posting and submitting.
Definitely not an app but rather quick access to a website. Black/blue text on dark background makes no sense. When signing up for a class there is no way to split payment. Would be nice if there was a way to log in with Touch ID. Sadly it seems they used the same person to develop this that runs the online classroom.
