User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I love this app! I’ve become very reliant on it. It helps to cut down my shopping time immensely, especially since there are 3 HEB stores in my area that I switch between depending on what I’m doing in my life that day. I love that you provide the aisle where I can find the product. However, sometimes the system seems to get “caught” between stores and the wrong aisle is showing. I end up having to wander the store to find products. I also love the options to purchase “curbside” or “delivery”. It would be nice if these systems were interchangeable with the app. Sometimes, I have the intention of shopping and I make a list in the app, but then time will run away from me and I’ll need to do curbside. As it right now, I have to write down the list that I have in my app. Then re-enter it in to the “curbside side”. Quite a time waster and mare than a little bit frustrating. Over all you all are doing a great job with your updates. Just a couple of things for your consideration to make it even better.
The app looks great! I love the overall look and feel and coupons are awesome. I am however disappointed one of the features from the previous app that I used most is “missing”. Previously I was able to see inventory for “All Stores”. I’m all around the city so I don’t shop at the same H-E-B everyday, so often I’ll just walk into an H-E-B and if I can’t find something I could easily search for the item and it would tell me where in the store it was. If I searched under all stores it would show me where the item was at my nearest H-E-B and if it was unavailable it would tell me the nearest store that had it. With the new app it only shows me availability for the store I’ve selected and doesn’t show me options for nearby stores. Overall it looks great but I won’t be using the new app until it’s fully featured and ready.
This is a vast improvement on the last version of the app! It’s much easier to access the coupons with the traveling “your coupons” button, -and the coupon filters are a much-welcomed addition. I would like more details on each coupon so don’t have to click into each one - perhaps this would be a good 3D Touch feature.
I'm assuming you really didn't ask for input when redesigning this new app. A basic function of a shopping list and location was a part of your original app. I can only assume that that developer is now at Google making the bucks and no longer giving insight on the future. I can see from other developer comments that we can expect that in the future, but jeesh! How do you whiff so bad. Might I suggest you gather the input of those who use your app when considering future apps and updates. Please shoot a flair into the air when you finally re-create a usable app the other 72% use.
This new app is pretty, but with all the photos it’s not as efficient as a simple list of products or coupons. I’m still using the old app. This new one only shows inventory in my selected store. Often when searching for a product, I want to see immediately if it is available in another store if mine doesn’t have it. I searched for “lamb” in meat, and the old app showed various cuts of lamb all of which were in other stores since my store didn’t have any. That is what I wanted to see. The new app showed me French fries and dog food (in my H-E-B). That’s ridiculous. Also, waiting for the shopping list feature. Update: I got a reply that if I search for lamb today, I should find what I’m looking for. Nope. Lamb branded fries and dog food. If my store doesn’t have something, I want the app to show me the stores that do - like the old app did.
