As much as I’m fully addicted to this game right now, I can’t help but feel like there’s more to be changed. I guess it’s not something that will get changed but the pipe firing. It frustrates me bc rubies aren’t all that easy to get (not to mention if you wanted to just buy some they’re crazy overpriced). And it’s 5 rubies per shot. But the problem I have is the prizes aren’t good? Like yeah you get a chance to win a special one but I’d say 9/10 I don’t get anything special. It might give me like 1 level ticket to a certain item but it’s usually something I don’t use/isn’t useful for any of the races in the tour. I just think your chances should be increased to get special characters/karts/gliders. ESPECIALLY when you need some of these characters to actually get all 5 stars on a race. It makes it virtually impossible to complete every race with 5 stars. I feel like Nintendo went straight for the money on this one. Most in-app purchases for apps of a similar caliber are way more affordable. If the rubies were more affordable, you’d actually make more money because more people would be inclined to buy them. And if you’re like me, you’ll spend $5 a bunch of times and end up giving way more money to the company than necessary. I just hate to waste rubies on a maybe. I guess that’s the gamble though. This was far too long anyways, but I just felt the need to voice my opinion on it.

I got this game the day that it came out and have loved it ever since! I was so excited to be able to play Mario kart on my phone as it was such a big part of my childhood. However, there are some changes I would make to the game. The biggest issue for me is that you have to wait way too long for new maps. I finish the new maps that get released within about an hour, and then I have nothing to do but replay them for an entire week. Another issue is the limiting of XP and coins you can get per day. Once I get all the XP and coins for the day (which happens very quickly as it’s a very low amount) I have no incentive left to play. I feel that either the amounts should be unlimited or at least raised. There should also be more challenges, because again, I finish those within a day or two. I’ve run out of challenges to complete. I also think the prices of rubies and the gold pass are extremely high. I don’t want to buy anything because they’re so high, maybe I would if the prices were more affordable. And finally, the prizes from the pipe are usually pretty bad. It is extremely difficult to obtain gems and when I finally save enough to use the pipe, I rarely get anything good. I just feel like there aren’t enough incentives to continue playing the game. There needs to be more reasons to keep me playing if I’m paying the amount that I am. Overall it is an awesome game, but has a lot of improvements that need to be made for me to keep playing.

Hello there, i downloaded this game when it first came out and found that it was an amazing game, however I have a few points for the developers. The first point is I know that as a company you need to make money but charging 2 bucks for 3 rubies it kind of ridiculous especially because we would be paying 5 a month for gold pass for your game. I would recommend that you could have an option to use your coins that you earned to purchase a few rubies and the more coins you have the more rubies you can purchase. My second point is that you need to come out with a online multiplayer so that everyone can play with there friends! I would love to be able to challenge my friends and see who can do the best instead of playing strangers all of the time, it needs to come soon instead of just “inbound”. I also would recommend that you add a few more maps for the weekly challenge because I know most of me and my friends outplay them in a day and it just leaves us to replay each map all week until the new ones are realized. I also think you should make it phone orientation directed, so that you can turn your phone side ways and race or have it vertical. Other than these few points of improvement this game is great, I love the tube aspect of how you receive your prizes and I just have always loved Mario cart.

The initial released version of the game is decent, but there are several issues that make the game only 3 or 4 out of 5 stars. First, there is no way to allow you to decide if you want to steer regularly or to turn by drifting other than choosing Settings WHILE THE RACE IS STILL GOING and change the setting for manual steering and hope nothing happens while you do that. Second, when making very small changes in direction to straighten myself out I’ve frequently accidentally used items. Both of these issues could be resolved by changing the touch controls. I’d suggest having holding your finger on the screen should allow regular turning while a tap near the kart will allow drifting, and also having a tap away from the kart to use items. A third (minor) issue is not being able to slow down. I’ve had several cases where a Blue Shell is closing in when I’m barely in 1st and my only option to get in 2nd is to do a hard turn into a wall so the other kart gets hit instead. Good things about the game is the very low cellular data usage when no Wi-Fi is available, the ability to auto use current items when you go through an item box so you get new items, and the great courses. I look forward to seeing the issues fixed so there will be nothing bad holding the game back.

getting mario kart for mobile was a huge deal for me, as this was a game i played daily as a child. however, after playing it for a little bit i have found some things that i’m not very fond of. the first being the experience needed to level up your carts being limited on a daily basis. that disappointed me as i feel like i can’t level up and get better as quickly as i would like. also, the “gold pass” is another issue i had with the game. i wouldn’t of minded paying a one time fee, but $5 MONTHLY is a bit much for a game. i pay that amount for apple music, apple arcade, etc. another tiny issue i have are the controls, i feel like that could’ve been planned out better. i was expecting the game to be played sideways, but it’s played vertical which i found odd, but not a huge deal. finally, the multiplayer aspect of the game annoyed me. i thought multiplayer would’ve been available when i downloaded the game, but after downloading and doing some research i found out it won’t be available until saturday. in my opinion, i wouldn’t of released the game until saturday then. as i was looking forward to using that feature and now i have to wait longer to use it. i think everybody is overhyping this a bit too much, and while i’m glad nintendo brought mario kart to mobile, i just think there are some aspects of the game that aren’t great which really brings the gameplay experience down. i hope future updates will improve the quality of the game.
