User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
In response to developer comments: After working with customer service and deleting and reinstalling the app the setting now works. It’s unbelievable customer service has not received other complaints as every other review in here mentions it. And to their credit customer service did reach out promptly but it took four emails for them to understand this issue. Thanks where it is due for them trying to help at least. Updated rating. FIXED: Support option in the app leads to Lyft support which either never responds to my questions/issues or takes many days to do so. They still have not responded to the issue above and it’s been over a week. ————————— FIXED: App never remembers login email so you have to type it in every time. Customer support is nonexistent and just links to Lyft’s customer support. Avoid.
When I first called Payfare Sunday night to report a missing fare they promised it would be resolved in 24 hours. Well now it has been well over 48 hours since I first inquired about my missing fare. The rep I spoke with did say they could see that the payment failed and it would correct In 24 hours after investigating, which was now 48 hours ago. What more is there to investigate? This is unacceptable to keep a drivers $ during the holidays. I cannot believe you have not corrected this issue yet. Wow! Way to treat people! I will warn all my fellow drivers not to use your service. By the way all the customer service reps seems to be at a call center in Pakistan because I can barely make out what they are saying. Very hard to communicate with them. Beware fellow drivers, stay far away from Payfare. They will mess up and keep your $ eventually and good luck getting the missing payout in a timely fashion. Been waiting 3 days now for them to fix the issue and put my missing $ in the account.
In November my rewards dropped on me. I contacted the email support and got an auto reply saying someone would be in touch within 24 hours. A week later I emailed again and the reply was they where closing that request because I had already reported it but still no contact from support. Then in December I get an email that says they corrected the issue and my rewards would be added in early Jan 2020. Now I get my rewards and click redeem so that the cash will be in my account and it does nothing. Contact support and they tell me delete and reinstall app. Did that and still nothing, they ask for a screen shot or my rewards and they will have a higher support call me right back. Well here I am 4 days later and cannot access my money from my rewards. No phone number to contact them at and no one answers emails. Very poor customer support, lyft needs to partner with another bank if this company cannot provide the service.
So far this Lyft Direct App has been wonderful. I don’t ever have to use .50 to cash out my money and I get cash back on pretty much everything I purchase. Although there’s so many perks I don’t understand why today my app hasn’t been working well. My app is up to date and I can’t login to see my balance. There’s no quick number to call to see the balance or a fast swipe to see balance. It’s saying request error when I log in. Everything other than not being able to login today the app and great and I love my card.
I’ll make it simple, if you have issues getting a bank to accept you, this is your go to. Make sure every purchase is accurate, if you get gas and your car takes less than expected, expect to wait 3-10 days to get your money back. It doesn’t correct itself immediately instead you have to call and speak to 20 people to get your issue solved. Pros:// you don’t pay .50 to cash out with Lyft, you can get cash out for free but only at a Walgreens or another select drug store. You get cash back if you use it which is nice because it’s free money but they don’t have a customer service number you can call for problems. Just like with Lyft you are forced to request for help. I was told I’d receive a call back earlier and never got one. I then emailed them because I didn’t want to deal with someone on the phone and after 4 hours I still didn’t get a reply so I requested a call again only to be told I’d be passed on to the next person. Thank God It’s only $1.71 but I want my money. It’s a nice temporary card but isn’t something you want to count on.
