I select both option and have Lowes send my receipts via email and print out. I have over 30++ receipts which will not read or state they are in there yet they are not. I hope they work on the scanner part of this app. The cashier at Lowe’s even had trouble and manually was finding my receipts because I was returning overages after firing my thieving contractor. The dates ranged for a month and I was trying to return some and locate missing tools, etc. Here I am trying to manually add them and they say transaction not found. I’m not happy about this. I have more important things to do than sit and play with these receipts. I give them my Lowe’s or my credit card and or my phone number when using a non Lowe’s credit card. I just ordered a refrigerator, stove and microwave and cannot find any of those transactions from 2 days ago on my account even though they were ordered with a Lowe’s credit card. I need all of my purchases merged into one account no matter my payment method.
I enjoy using the app, but unfortunately, I can only use it to look for things I might want to buy when I’m home because the WiFi in your stores is completely ineffective. Either make it usable or just save the money and don’t install it at all because it’s useless to the consumer. Also, cell coverage inside is nonexistent, so there is absolutely no way to connect to the app. The app only works in a vertical format. I’d like to use it at home on my iPad (with keyboard), but it won’t flip. HD’s app does flip, so I usually just go to their app to lookup/order when I’m using my iPad. Lastly, the app keeps asking me to update, but when I click on the button it presents to bring me to the App Store, I see that their is no update available. I will give you kudos for linking the veteran discount to the app. HD doesn’t do this.
I did enjoy using this app. But there are two issues that need to be addressed. Wi-Fi needs improvement. Always having problems connecting while in the store. And when I am able to connect the speed is extremely slow. My cellular data speed is 50 times faster than your Wi-Fi I see other reviews with the same issue. It makes it hard to use your app while in your store. I do not get a good cellular signal while inside your store so I try to use your Wi-Fi The other issue is the in store map location. The app used to show a map of where the item is located. Now it doesn’t AND the aisle numbers have changed on your app and they are WRONG. I looked up an item and it said aisle 98. Aisle 50 is the highest number in that store. Store #35 is the store I am talking about. Someone needs to wake up and join the rest of the world. You have the potential of having a great app but you need to fix your store Wi-Fi speed and connection issues along with your item locations and in store maps. The later used to work great. Not anymore.
Really poor service. We are moving to Tyler and have gone to this Lowe’s on 2 separate occasions. The first time we waited in the tile dept for almost 30 minutes waiting on help and my husband called the manager from his cell while we were in the store to complain. We went there Saturday and they didn’t have half of what we were looking for but we went to the Appliances department and waited a long time for assistance because we wanted to buy a stove. I went to the front of the store to seek help and happened to run into the Appliance associate and ask for help. He responds in a very rude tone ‘well I’m busy and I’ve got to go load this up and you have people ahead of you!’ He didn’t offer to get anyone else to assist the people waiting back there. You all did have a sale going on, what did you expect? Why didn’t you put more personnel back there on a weekend? So I left and went to the Lowe’s in Spring on Kuykendahl where I was waited on almost immediately. Guess I’ll be doing business with Home Depot in Tyler because I don’t tolerate rude behavior from CSRs.
Nothing has gone right with last three orders, one taking months to resolve. People at the stores are helpful when you talk to them but apparently there is no role designed to own an issue through completion. The next time you call you have to start all over again. Worst repetitive customer experience I’ve had with a company in a long time. This last experience i had an online order cancelled but was not notified at all, when I asked why they said reason was “other”. They asked that I resubmit as they had the stock so I did. I drove 35 minutes to pick up and the order was left outside on a cart, completely soaked from rain with the paperwork now falling apart. Still showed full charge but was missing 7 of my items and 3 other items that were the wrong size. If I hadn’t gone through the order myself I wouldn’t have been told. Store workers have been very polite and willing to help but the rest of the process is broken. Absolutely no communication or escalation resolution even when you call in to their call center and talk with a Supervisor. I’m done
