I was honestly biased at first to use this app, and paying for a note keeper wasn’t very high on my list, but for $0.99, I gave it a chance and used it. I have filled in quite a few notes now, and honestly, I love it, and $0.99 isn’t a bad price for a note keeper, because I understand that they have to keep your information, and for the separate server and service, it’s worth it. However, I do have a request from the app, and if they added these options, it would be every bit worth a five star rating. One) An option to name the colors as a set, or what that color is used for. Two) An option to sort colors together. They are colored for a reason, and they shouldn’t be randomly jumbled together. Which brings me to- Three) Ability to choose A to Z sort as Ascending OR Descending ( with that color grouping) If you add these three options, I would change my rating to an absolute 5 star rating. I hope that as a developer, you consider making these changes, and I hope that as a consumer, you consider these lack of options in deciding if this app will work to meet your expectations and requirements from a note app.
I tried the app and deleted it because of the ads. Then I decided to give it another chance. I won’t make that mistake again. I’m sure it would be a useful app if it didn’t have so many ads, and I would even be willing to buy the ad free version if I could actually get a true feel for the app, but when the ads prevent you from even using it because they take up so much of the page, or appear exactly where you need to be typing, uh, no thanks. If I can’t use it enough to decide if I like it then I absolutely won’t spend money to give it a try. Honestly, if you can’t get a true sense of what an app is like with the free version, please don’t waste your money on the full version.
I used an app with the same icon on my Droid and liked it very much. It was easy to use, and if I got a new Droid I could also access my notes because it saved them and synced with my email. Only this time I got an iPhone instead and tried to find the colornote app. This is not the same app as colornote! I could not find a place to put in my email to begin to sync it, so I will need to manually transfer my notes to Google keep, which is very similar to colornote. On locknote, the ads are extremely annoying and some are stubborn to "x" out of. It doesn't have the same ease of use as colornote did. I will not be using it.
Yes it works, but if you want to leave a note open all day and keep adding to it there’s a strong chance that it will just disappear therefore you lose everything. It’s kinda super annoying it doesn’t automatically save. I literally just lost all of yesterday’s work thanks to this stupid app that I’m required to have. I can’t believe I even paid money for something like this. On the plus side. You can change background colors.
I’ve been waiting to find a color note app in the App Store coming from droid that app was amazing!! Easy to keep up with say to day activities and lists. I’ve added 2 notes but test messages and unable to find them. The ads are ridiculous and unable to fully utilize the app. Would be nice if I could sync my email to this ad after the other stuff is fixed. I’ve deleted the app very disappointed!
