User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
Most of my virtual meetings are using Zoom but one of them is using this one. Why isn’t there a Raise Hand or Chat feature on the iPad version? Also, it would be nice for the user to control the screen layout. Update: I was able to enable the Chat feature but the Raise Hand feature does not show up on my iPad (in landscape mode). I haven’t tried portrait mode.
I use this app relatively frequently for meetings and have had a positive experience using it overall. It's pretty user-friendly, easy to navigate and use. Inside a call, the controls are simple, and the video and audio quality is really impressive. It has its quirks here and there, but I can't say I've personally encountered anything that I would consider more than just a minor inconvenience. And Lifesize releases updates quite often to make improvements and add new features. All things considered, I find that it does what it is designed to do and does it really effectively.
This is probably THE WORST video conference app I have ever used. I don’t usually make reviews claiming how horrible apps are, but, when I used this app for my online counseling meeting (due to covid-19) the audio kept cutting out (for everyone, and we all had stable connection at the time) and the awkwardness of repeatedly asking everyone to repeat themselves was so aggravating and made me cringe so hard words cannot explain. I dred using this app for counseling, the audio persists to cut out for everyone to the point I can hardly get out a sentence, it’s also hard to concentrate on who’s speaking due to this, this app gave me SO much anxiety talking to my counselors that I almost never get talking to them, other online meeting apps don’t do this, so I know it’s not just me...
The latest update fixes all of my issues! I can now meet anywhere. Thanks! — Old review The latest release took a fairly good application and rendered it useless on the iPad. The app insists on being in portrait to access the login and when setting up a conference. When you rotate it to landscape during a call the images end up sideways. An ipad with an attached keyboard isn’t easy to spin back and forth. Use the platform.
At least you guys are consistent in delivering disappointing user experiences. In landscape mode with the iPad Pro keyboard... open the app, purple ‘pulsing logo’ screen loads (for vertical first, then snaps over to the horizontal view - nice first impression of neglected polish)... then the purple pulsing logo screen sits there endlessly. Like it’s breathing, thinking and contemplating ways it can further disappoint and hinder your productivity. Ended up having to cancel a meeting and move it to tomorrow when I’m back in the office and can use my MacBook.
