First of all, on the surface this game may seem like a Pokémon go knockoff. This is not the case. Admittedly, the walking around to find different creatures and spin stops is very similar to Pokémon go. That is where the similarities end. In Jurassic World Alive, you don’t catch dinosaurs, you use a drone to get DNA from them to synthesise your own version, evolve it, or make a hybrid of it. There are only three resources to keep track of in JW Alive-DNA Probes, Coins and Cash. In JW Alive, you can attempt to get DNA from a dinosaur that is a little bit away, but your drone starts with less power-so you have less time to collect the DNA. Also, the developers very much care about the feedback and are very responsive to any issues you may have. My only major issue is with the DNA probes. They seem on the surface like “stamina” or “energy” from many other Free-to-Play games where they will fill up your meter while you are offline. This is not the case. You can have well over 100 probes stocked up, but they are capped and they are the most useful thing in the game and it is not uncommon to use 10 of them per dinosaur encounter. You can get a few back by spinning the stops, but only 5, 10, or 15. And 5 is understandably the most common one to get. My suggested fix: Either remove the cap to number of probes, increase it significantly, or give them a auto-recharge so your stock of them gets filled up while you are offline.

I’ve been in love with dinosaurs since i was just a little child. Ive watched every Jurassic Park movie over and over again and that just really kindled my love for dinosaurs. This game is not only addicting but its actually full of things to do. This game has great mechanics for the dino battling system that actually makes you really think how you will make your team. It isnt just go for the strongest because there are others things to consider like their shield, speed and critical hit chance that can make this game very diverse in the battling section. In the roaming section, this game masters. You have a drone this time (in game) that you use to shoot darts and dinos you find in the world to make that dinosaur. You can level them up to increase their health and damage as well as combining certain dinos together to make hybrids which is not a chance you get that often might i add. This game makes you feel so rewarded for getting epic and rare dinosaurs in your world its just so addicting. Finally, the incubator and cash system. People may think having micro-transactions in this would make it easy to level up and do better. Maybe, but i never felt like i needed to do it because the game gives you cash by doing challenges and finding supply drops around the world which are so easy to find. So, overall, this game is awesomely balanced and just a very big treat for dinosaur fans.

Now I know it’s just a Pokémon go knock off, but let’s just ignore that right now. To be honest this is much more fun than I’ve had in quite a while. But the reason why I am writing it four stars is because for me sometimes the battles take a while to load like maybe 10 to 15 minutes but usually they still take me to battle. To be honest I don’t really consider this next one a nitpick but whenever I’m traveling I always find at least one area where there’s a no dinosaurs at all but I do find it exciting when I do find a dinosaur. All right now the part you’ve all been waiting for all the things of this game does right and trust me there are a lot of them. No I’m not gonna talk about how dinosaurs had feathers and this is not accurate because that would just be stupid, the Jurassic Park series it really known for its accuracy with dinosaurs. But anyways this game does a lot of things right for one this game can get you to be really active like really active. Dinosaurs are all beautifully modeled. In quite a lot of them are very accurate to the screen appearances like the Stegosaurus how it appeared in Jurassic World. Even though technically these dinosaurs aren’t accurate they are just beautifully model I really think you should check out this game it’s really good one, maybe not just because of the models alone, but there are so many more things at this game does right and wrong.

I went into this game with low expectations as I expected it to be a knockoff version of Pokémon Go, but wow was I wrong! This game is incredibly fun, and (Niantic, listen up!) fixes a LOT of what’s wrong/frustrating with PoGo. What’s most frustrating about PoGo for me is the lack of pokestops/gyms to interact with, even though I live in the suburbs of a major capital city in the US. After I moved out of Manhattan, it stopped being fun. But with JWA, there’s so much to interact with! There are LOTS of supply drops (essentially a DinoStop) dotted all over residential neighborhoods, unlike PoGo. You also don’t have to be RIGHT NEXT to a Dino to catch it, although the closer you are the better your chances. You can also look around the map and see Dino’s in the distance you want to go after so you know where to go! There’s also a crazy fun battle feature, log in bonuses, and a good amount of proximity spawns/events that make me want to keep logging in and playing. There’s also no speedlock, so if you’re a passenger on a road trip, or even commuting to work on a bus/train, you can still play which is fantastic! The only thing I wish was different: I want to be able to nickname my dinosaurs!! I hope that comes in a later update. Otherwise, keep going, game developers! You did a fantastic job and brought the joy back to a style of game that’s been long missing from Pokémon Go.

This game is amazing and ive had it for a long time now but fix the current bug fixes!!! It is screwing me over!! The battles are even worse than they were before the update. It's like the connection just isnt working at all anymore or just enough to connect the two players at the beginning by a THREAD and then the connection just gives up but the battle keeps going but since the timer is still trying to run but the connection between me and the person im battling isnt good enough then i lose the battle because i didnt even get a chance to select an attack that couldve saved me. Ive also tested to make sure it wasnt my personal wifi at home messing up because i didnt want to harp on you gys if it was a personal problem like that but that is not the case. It is everywhere even in known good connection places, the game is having a hard time. I know you guys are working your arses off, i understand how challenging it is to keep everyone happy, but battling is a huge huge part of the game and it is not working for me so badly i cant njoy it anynore. And this game has been one ive held with since before the pterosaurs were added and before the alliances were even fathomed up, i wasnt here at the very beginning but i was here long tjme ago and ive never held onto a game so long. Please fix this i love you guys
