User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I love this app and could not recommend it more. As a student, I often find myself completing boring, and repetitive applications hoping someone will bother to look at them at all. Jumpstart’s platform is a unique, enjoyable tool for self discovery. After signing up and completing the survey, I felt like I had learned about myself and gained a better understanding of what I truly want out of my career. Rather than feeling overwhelmed or discouraged, I am excited about the opportunities that have been presented to me and the quality of the interactions I’ve had with recruiters thus far.
I recently discovered this app. As a CS student looking for internships this an awesome app to learn about other experiences and opinions as well as companies and related events. However, the mobile app has some bugs in my opinion. Once you make a search for a company and click the company to learn more about that company, there’s no way to go back to the list of companies. The same happens when you click share, it takes you to a new page but there is no way to go back from there, also the links to the social media platforms doesn’t work either. Another issue I found is that if you are in a different section, let’s say forums and you go to the bottom nav bar and click discover, you go back to discover but if you are on discover and you click it again nothing happens, my question is: shouldn’t that take you to the “home discovery page/view”? The app is great but those issues are a bit annoying, I have to close the app and open it again to be able to go to the main view and make a new search. If the issues were fixed I would definitely give the app 5 starts 🙂
I’ve tried dozens of different recruiting apps, but this is by far one of the most unique and helpful I’ve used! The interface is very interactive and easy to use. This in my opinion is the future of recruiting - no more straight resume blasts or cold emailing. The machine learning matches you not only with leading companies they’ve made relationships with, but it helps bring focus on how you align with the companies goals, initiatives, core values instead of just a bottom line. This is THE recruiting application for the next gen student wanting the opportunity for a career, not just another job out of college.
Really intuitive app that allows me to showcase current abilities, highlight past projects and engage with perspective employers. I didn’t expect much as typical with newer apps but the team behind this must have a lot experience because it’s pretty flawlessly delivered and connected between pages. Thank you for helping us out by specializing and putting the most comprehensive engineer’s recruiting platform together. Beautiful work and really excited to see this process out!
The overall UI of the app is beautiful, however the forum tab doesn’t work properly at all. It constantly gives errors (“We couldn’t find the post you were looking for!”). I would love a dark mode theme. Now that iOS 13 supports system wide dark mode, it would be nice to be able to automatically change to dark or light themes depending on the users system setting. Also, the font seems a tad too small.
