Technology that truly creates a a transformative experience with something never done before—NASA 1961 and JFK choosing to go to the moon not because it would be easy but because it would be hard and summon the best of our energies and efforts—this is what I want my kids to know through education and immersive experiences. The original astronauts went to the Moon and discovered a new perspective on Earth. I think we need an app like this to help lift us again—all the better by including the history and stories of JFK And NASA getting us there...which led to the GPS and camera phones in everyone’s hands today with this app. My girls loved it. Can’t wait for the full launch July 16th.
I love the AR features and enjoyed watching the rocket take off in my room 😊. Good educational tool for those interested in this important period of history and a good remembrance for those who experienced it back in the day while it was happening.
This App is amazing but I think there are a few things to be added. In track after you land on the moon to be able to play the moon walk but in greater detail and in real time. For example the Apollo 11 movie where it showed never before seen footage and it sowed Niel Armstrong on the moon and it was 20 or so minutes before Buzz Aldrin came down. And also the journey home and the ability to control the the decent to Earth.
Thank you JFK library, what a great way to learn and relive history. I could feel the excitement building day by day and you did not disappoint. Spectacular graphics pre and at launch, I'm looking forward to following the complete mission.
This app has the potential to be awesome, but only if it would work in anything other than open football field. I’m constantly being asked to scan an open flat area, even though I’m in my half acre backyard. I don’t understand what the developers thought they needed to render a log of the Apollo mission, but I spent far more time trying to get this app to recognize the environment that actually appreciating what it had to offer.
