I don’t know if the problem is the app or the pharmacy personnel but I’m sure it is a group effort by both parties. When refilling prescriptions with app all will seem well but it is not. The app will claim prescriptions will be ready the next day after a certain time. You will show up at pharmacy to pick up prescription after date/time app suggested and will be met by someone manning the register who has no idea what they are doing. A story claiming a 3rd party is filling your prescription will be given and it won’t be delivered for a couple more days - 4 days to full last prescription. When asked why the app claims prescription is ready when it is not pharmacy tech will claim the app would not do this. Show them the app with date and time of pickup will be met with something is wrong with your phone. Of course you can wait while they hurry and fill it, for an additional 45 minutes wait. Be sure to ask to be reimbursed for gas and time for multiple trips to get one prescription, just do it. The stumbling for words and confusion this will cause is so worth it. Reimbursement won’t happen but it was the best part of my experience. Move prescriptions to a reputable publicly traded company - Walgreens, right aid, CVS.... these companies survive off customers spending money in their store, customer service and repeat business is crucial to their survival. Stay healthy and DO NOT USE THIS app.

Thought I’d try it again. Nope! Can’t scroll down through my test results. What is the point?!?!?! It won’t let me see the full list of results. So frustrating. Website is horrid, and so is the app. I like what Intermountain is *trying* to do, but this app is not great. It's like they tried to shove a full, outdated website into an app. Wait, because they did. Honestly, accessing the MyHealth website from my phone is EXACTLY THE SAME as what I see in the app!!!! It cracks me up that on the website it tells me "for a better experience, use the app." Ha ha! Wrong!!!! Apps are supposed to be simple, clean, and easy to use. This one isn't. I just want to be able to get on, see test results, email my doctor, and pay my bills. Good luck trying to navigate through all the options, plus it's very unclear where to find certain things. Then there's the issue if the app will even let you log in. Good luck with that. The developers need to use the U's awesome app and take a lesson from their design.

I’ve dealt with some bad apps but this one takes the cake. Having to sign in every time I go to a different section within the app slows everything down. When messaging my doctors it has its own predictive text that throws random words and phrases in what I am typing after I’m half a sentence done typing that word. I then have to go back and edit what the app changed my words to. It also is a problem when going to different section in the app when it prompts you with a button to download the app. If I wanted to go online and work within a browser I could have done that and saved the space that having an app takes. The fact that I am taking time to write a review shows just how bad this app is. Most of the time I’d just delete the app and move on but having to use it for my medical needs and it working this poorly has got me to write a review. If i could give it 0 stars I would. I do not recommend this app if you can avoid it.

My primary reason to use this app is to access my health records, communicate with physicians and schedule appointments. Yet going into the hub you certain get a hub. Once in the app, if you want to get to “MyHealth” you are redirected to what appears to be a browser. First thing you see is For a Better Experience Use Our App. Wait, didn’t I just use the app to get to this screen? If you try clicking the link associated with the message it fails. Below this message is a place to enter your your userid and password. Once you’re in the app you can get to all of the information and options such as lab results, messages, appointments. If you choose to press the “X” you go back to the Hub app you must re-enter your userid and password to enter the My Health area again. What IHC needs to provide is a normal well thought out app like most other apps for just My Health. Leave the hub as a separate app. Make the app behave like other apps when it comes to userid and password, ie you require the userid and password once during a session with a timeout, support FaceID, etc. With all of its quirky behavior, no ability that could find to receive notifications, and other things I gave it one star. If you can just use the browser to access IHC My Health.

Sadly this is merely a light wrapper around the web application. It doesn’t have any particular new features or unique capabilities on iOS. Which is really sad because Intermountain healthcare claims to have been a part of the beta for the Apple health kit health records exchange. I’d really love to see that, but we’re not really seeing any word about that. It’s not like the whole system isn’t run on Cerner and that other hospitals on Cerner haven’t turned it on already. I’m sure integrations are more complicated than that but we deserve a little bit more than a light wrapper around the web app. Of course,Internally they’re going to make the business case that people aren’t using the app. It’s a chicken and egg problem. If the apps are crappy and don’t add any particular value, nobody’s going to use them. Apologies the developers. It’s not your fault.
