User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I love, love, love the esthetics of this app. It’s bright, uncluttered, and sleek. The UI design is totally user-friendly, and the filters themselves each have an identity. They’re carefully chosen, IMO—I think Marcus Carlson prefers quality over quantity. (Seriously, too many filters becomes overwhelming. Better to have a good basic set of filters, than to have hundreds that just repeat themselves). I definitely recommend this app, as I do the developer’s other photo apps. He brings attention and dedication to each one.
Really responsive developer and the app is working correctly now with the latest update:) It will even process my 50mp Canon 5ds raw files without hesitation. Now I can get a little closer to the old days/looks of shooting with my Nikon F3’s and Contax and Zeiss lens combos without having to be in the darkroom....Thanks for the awesome support!!
I can’t change the amount of grain and it appears not to scale with the image size. I don’t find many of the film stocks very convincing and many are super low contrast no solid blacks - with film this wouldn’t ever be the case if the film was developed and printed properly. I’d prefer fewer authentic film stocks than breadth there they aren’t convincing. These minor tweaks of tone curves plus some invariable grain are just as easily done in snapseed which also has a million other tools.
I’ve written support before on this issue, I’m a photographer/designer with over 150,000 photos on my iPhone, this app does not access, my photo library all the time, it freezes. When it does access my photo library, it takes forever, and I still cannot use the filters, because it freezes. I would really like to update my review but to date, it’s still a bad app for me. Please fix problem as soon as possible, I would really like to use the app I Purchased.
Basically an all in one app to edit your film pictures. Can’t wait to start using all the available filters. In app purchases are definitely worth the money!
