User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I just got an iLive speaker and when I downloaded this app on the phone I’m currently using with the Wi-Fi I’m also currently using, when I press search it just brings up this bright yellow message that says my Wi-Fi hasn’t been enabled. You can’t press anything else, nothing at all can be done, it just shows this message and that’s it. I don’t know what to do with it. Honestly there’s a reason this app has such low reviews and so little people have downloaded it. It isn’t user friendly, it isn’t well made (seems incredibly basic), and it is sadly essential to the devise which makes the other problems way worse.
So for the clock from my husband in Dec and it was garbage with iPhone 8 and 10, eventually we got to work by finding charging and using our old iPhone 6. Unfortunately power went out one day and lost all settings 🤦♀️, didn’t want to dig up old iPhone again so this wound up in donate bin. However, it was an $$$ clock so I thought I’d try one more time, now August and they seem to have worked out a lot of bugs. I like the audio quality better than the echo dot in my bedroom but it doesn’t recognize routines, if they added that I’d give it five stars now.
Not sure why people are having difficulties but I did not. Key point is to connect to a visible 2.4 ghz wireless to set it up, required for the model I have. Used my iPhone 6 with ease to set up, once I programmed the WiFi password into the speaker it connected directly to the WiFi. I set the preset buttons using the app and now the speaker is totally independent of the app by using the presets to start playing my favorite content from TuneIn.
Like all the other reviews, the app doesn’t work. Bought an Alexa enabled alarm clock as a Xmas present and the app just says “Your device doesn’t enable Wi-Fi connection. Please enable Wi-Fi connection and try again”. There are no instructions on how to set the time on the clock and I’ve tried every combination of buttons and connecting my phone via USB and aux to try and get some use out of it but nothing. Now it’s a worthless piece of junk. Apple really should shut down companies that sell products that require an app to function yet clearly, based on all the recent reviews, doesn’t work AT ALL.
I’ve had my iLive for a year now and it worked perfectly until yesterday. It appears the app crashed from so many people using it and connecting their new gift. It says I need to enable my Wi-Fi which it’s already enabled. Everything works except for the I live app. The tower works well except for Wi-Fi mode. It won’t connect anymore. After trouble shooting it appears it’s a crash issue with the app. Updates are needed badly so everyone can use there gifts!
