I am a speech language pathologist and absolutely love Pati’s work. I have used her books and materials with children who have disabilities for years. I work with children who have multiple disabilities in Early Childhood Programs. The simplicity is what works! I have seen children begin to speak , learn how to read and develop a foundation for switch access and AAC use. She is one of the few people who is dedicated to serving children who have severe and multiple disabilities. Thank you for all of the accessibility features! I can walk into any early childhood program and use this app with a variety of children from autism, ESL, typical kids, speech delays, to children who have severe physical disabilities. Keep on making these Apps we need accessible Apps that teach these important skills. It is definitely my go to App and worth the money!
This is a great app for toddlers needing help with speech. Worth every penny, makes a rewarding experience.
While I appreciate the concept of this app, and was excited to use the story in my lessons, the content fell way short of justifying the price. Using the picture clues at the bottom is a great way for visual learners to show an understanding of the story content. Unfortunately, there is only one small story, and only the six picture clues at the bottom. Nothing else?? I am disappointed on two fronts. First, that the developer didn't include several stories and activities. And also, that they are charging a price that carries the assumption that you are getting much more for your money! I plan to email the developer website to complain. Bottom line, save your money until more content is added, or the price comes way down!
