User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
The app is nice for an one time payment, but you can’t use app to schl next month’s payment, had to close app and open up website, if I still gotta open up website what’s the point of app? You should be able to schl an payment for December now, but unfortunately on the app that’s not possible until the 1st, how awkward is that? LoL I got online and schl my December payment, the app said processing, what the heck? I got right back on the website and deleted payment, I don’t trust GM anymore, they done got me once, by taking two payments from me, instead of catching it and notifying to see if I made a mistake, not GM they automatically gonna deduct, so be very careful on schl payments and dbl check to make sure you don’t have any schl already.
This app is horrible. I can no longer use the “Contact us” messaging feature to apply my extra payments to principal, because I used this excellent feature once and apparently you have to “resolve” the conversation. It never prompted me to “resolve the conversation”. And because I didn’t, it now won’t let me resolve my last conversation at all. So therefore I try to send a message, and it says “error sending message”, I try to resolve the conversation by pressing the button, and it does literally nothing. And NOW the app crashes completely every time I try to log in! So I can no longer use it to send payments at all, and even if I can eventually log in (which I’ve tried to 8 times in a row now), I can’t send extra payments to principal, and it wastes the payments on interest and my loan balance remains the same. I hate this so bad! I called customer service to try to fix the “contact us” messaging feature and all they could tell me is “We can delete your account and you can make a new one”. I strongly refused that because I don’t want to have a chance of making 5 months of credit history disappear! As soon as my credit gets a little better I am refinancing my loan with some company that isn’t complete garbage!
This app needs a lot of work. I got roped in to downloading it by entering to win something. Part of the process was to enable paperless billing. The steps they provided were useless and didn’t match anything with the app. I tried to chat with someone and that was a joke. Now it shows 3 notifications and there’s NOTHING when I open the app to try and clear the notifications. I’ve updated my phone, updated the app, deleted the app, restarted my phone and they’re still there. Also, I’ve checked “remember me” and “keep me logged in” a million times and I still have to log in every time.
After reading some reviews from others about taking payments and missing payments.....I also have had HORRIBLE experiences with GM as well....they have terrible customer service members as well as management who tell you one thing, then another tells you something else and then management tells you another!!! Sadly, negatively effecting me in the end. Without going into details about my situation with GM, there was NO communication from them to resolve the issue, they waited 4 MONTHS, yes 4 MONTHS! To then call me and inform me of the situation. After, my lease is up, I will no longer work with GM or any other Chevy Dealer!!!! They have put a horrible, disgusting taste in my mouth and stole from me. Effecting me so negatively that I will purchase my vehicles elsewhere.
The app is nice it’s the only way I actually make a payment but the reason for the 2star is that I don’t like the fact when there is a new version it forces you to update now and when you click the button it take you to the exact same app you already have, if here’s a new version then either give me the option to want to update it or just have the current app automatically update this is very frustrating and inconvenient now I have to call in which I hate doing because I can’t use the app because there is apparently an updated version that really doesn’t exist never mind for my irritation I give it a one star
