You can place an object in the AR view and see the field it would create. <br><br>For example, you can see magnetic field vectors near a current carrying wire. Don't have a current carrying wire handy? No problem! This app will generate one in augmented reality. Move it around the room. Put it on the ceiling. Just find a flat surface and give the screen a tap. You can also adjust the strength of the current and see the effects on the field vectors. This visualization is great for learning how to apply the right hand rule for example. <br><br>Also included is the field for a point charge. This shows the basics of the inverse square law, as expected from Coulomb's Law. You can move the charge around and adjust the charge strength. <br><br>Instructions: Select a field from the menu screen. Click OK on the next button that shows up. Move the phone around while looking at an obvious surface, like the floor. When a surface is found, a gray pattern will emerge. Tap this pattern to add an object. Use the slider on the upper part of the display to control parameters. Well lit areas work better.
