 Why to reply to reviews?

User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.

The login is finicky. It refuses to download any modules for offline use even though there is more than one download button and a storage space setting under the settings. When it works, it can be long-winded in feedback but is pretty decent for studying. Other than that transient usefulness, this is just another example of how awful Pearson is. Who knows how they convince schools to use them for resources. They have the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered (beyond incompetent, which is why I wouldn’t bother troubleshooting the aforementioned issues with them), and nearly everything they make (app, eText, etc.) only aspires to be sub-par in its most lofty dreams. Bottom line: by all means, give it a try, but don’t expect much. Update: I don’t know if the app was updated, but for whatever reason, the title at the top of the app stops and scrolls, stops and scrolls...over and over again, when I’m doing questions. It’s extremely distracting and has the look of an advertisement. It’s also totally unnecessary. Why would you *ever* put something distracting like that in a study app? Clearly they’re not thinking at all about the users. What a shame. The app had been useful before this. Now, it’s just annoying. The mobile website for this site doesn’t work well on the phone, so that’s not even a decent alternative. Terrible job, really. On all counts.

I put in the wrong password (my bad) but the screen it took to me to give me options for resetting it or contacting customer service didn’t have a back button or a way to get back to the log in screen so I had to delete it and reinstall it once I changed my password on my computer. Fine. Great. But when I finally got in, it had my old chemistry book in there and nothing else! I was sent to the app in the first place by the “other resources” tab in my Spanish class, not much of an additional resource if the only thing there is a book from a class I’m not even in anymore. There isn’t a search feature or some other way to find my Spanish class, it’s just the chemistry textbook. And what good is that anyway? That book was the least useful thing in passing Chemistry in the first place. Reading the dang thing on my phone certainly wouldn’t have been useful either. Thanks for nothing, Pearson. For how much your textbooks are you’d think you could come up with a halfway decent app.

How is it that so many people have issues logging in on the app but clearly have access to it on the website. I am having the same issue. I have a class that is using mastering engineering and I have access to it but can’t login on this app. Why is this still a issue? I even tried using their website they provide to contact if there’s an issue logging in and it says the site has been disabled. Talk about a serious issue for such a “credible” company for education. I would stop using them if it wasn’t for my professor wanting to use it. Can’t even put a little effort into helping their customers that pay thousands of dollars over the course of their college days.

Not sure why you wouldn’t optimize an educational app for iPad but they didn’t. If you’re using an iPad you have the option of the app either only take up like a 1/3rd of the screen or stretch it so it’s super pixilated. Plus as of now the app hasn’t been updated in over a year so I doubt they’re working on fixing it With how much textbooks and MyLab codes cost it’s ridiculous they aren’t supporting this app. I’d really prefer to use this on my iPad than on my phone or computer but I guess I’m the idiot shelling out hundreds of dollars either way so who cares right ***update: I just tried to use it on my phone and it’s not even optimized for plus sized iPhone. Absolutely ridiculous. Fix your app.

I just installed this app on my iPhone for my Spanish class. I used the login that I use for my online course without difficulty. I was able to review some of the current content for my class. I didn’t give it 5 stars because within just a few minutes of use, I found a typo in one of the answers. The word “más” was omitted from the answer which was supposed to be correct. There is no way to report errors like this, which is a little frustrating.
