User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
Does this app not work in certain countries??(turkey) I can’t seem to find some of the basic buttons like rebound and uploading a profile pic! I can’t even view my own profile when I’m on the mobile app, only on laptop. I’m confused.
I love Dribbble. I use it almost every day. The problem I run into with the app is that it’s not nearly as useful as the desktop or even the mobile site. The desktop site has the ability to view up to 6 “shots” or thumbnails per row along with the ability to filter those results by animation, branding, etc. The mobile site has all of the same capabilities as the desktop site. The only difference is that you can only view two “shots” or thumbnails per row. I understand there’s less real estate on a phone and it only effects the time to find the shot you are searching for, not usability. The app is a different story. You can only look at one shot at a time, and the search results can’t be filtered at all. Again, I love Dribbble, and I use it every day. I’ve never reviewed an app before. Hopefully something is eventually done to make the app’s UI as user friendly as the Mobile site or even the Desktop.
There are a few features that are accessible for when I use Dribbble on my desktop but it’s not the same as when I’m on the mobile app. For example, I can’t find the option to change my profile or edit my shots. I also wish it was easier to access my bio! The icon is a bit too tiny for me and I think may be better to make it bigger or to put it as an option in the lower bar? But the main features I’ve seen on the desktop are still on the mobile version (ie. Upload, newsfeed, view people’s profiles, job hiring, etc).
Dribbble has a sleek layout with a uniform aspect ratio, making it an appealing showcase for designers. The constant crashing has become a pain and I haven’t been able to comment for several weeks without it shutting down. Their response team got back within 24 hours both times I reached out but told me to “hang on” while the bugs get sorted. Also, there is no thumbnail selection for video files which means you better enjoy re-exporting all your video files specifically for Dribbble to get your desired cover. Worth $60/year? I certainly regret it.. Free version? Sure!!
Finally! I am glad that u read the reviews about last redesign, it was awful, it was not working properly, was hard to use and so on... this one is classic and much better.
