Dials for X-Wing is an application to complement the experience of gaming to the miniatures game.<br><br>This application has the aim of being a complement when you are playing to the miniatures game to control in way more efficient and confortable the dials of each starship.<br><br>You only have to select your faction and via the left menu to add the dials of the ships which you are going to use.<br><br>It is possible to hide the dials after you have selected the maneuvers, this way you can put your device on the game table.<br><br>Another feature to make the use of this app more confortable is to save the dials that you usually use via the star icon on the top. I have been a big fan of X-Wing ever since I started playing it a few months ago and I am one of those nerds who loves all of the pieces that go with it, but as you approach 150 or more point games, the dials get a bit cumbersome and a pain to keep them organized on the play mat. This nifty little app makes it much more simple to navigate and plan my next moves. As is, it deserves 4 stars. To get 5, I would like to see the ability to reorganize the ship list (instead of having to delete and add in the specific order that you want) and have the dial select a bit more smooth. The dial tends to snap to numbers that I did not intend to use and seems a tad clunky at times. I am running this app on an iPhone 7 Plus for reference. Thanks for your work!
This is fantastic for casual play. If I'm playing an open night or casually with my friend and don't have a dial - no muss, no fuss. I fire up the app and away I go. Also great if you just don't feel like cluttering up the table at a casual game and just want to have your iPad out - your entire squad in one neat app. Great job!
I no longer have to dig out or even tote all my dials with me... I just pick the ones I need and play. Wish more table top games had such support.
This is awesome! Love seeing more X-wing stuff on the App Store. Only thing I think could make it better is maybe magnifying the center chosen maneuver to differentiate it from the others.
