Cycle is a time lag accumulator - a musical system that repeats the notes you play over and over until they gradually fade into silence. It's a simple but very powerful idea, allowing you easily create fascinating and often unexpected sonic textures.

Cycle can be a delightful meditative experience. The system naturally lends itself well to long and slowly evolving musical ideas, which encourages you to slow down and listen carefully as notes gradually fade in and out.

Cycle can also be a great starting point for creating ambient music. Cycle features easy recording and exporting to both wav and midi files, as well as Inter-App Audio (IAA) and Audiobus support. Easily Airdrop or email recordings to your computer, and use them right away in your favorite DAW.

Features:

- 12 sound options. User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I’m on iPhone SE trying to play through the device’s speakers. I already ran volume tests to make sure the speakers were on and working, but when I tried to use the app, nothing. I’d like to report that upon a hard - Reload of the game it seems to be working better, and is playing through the speakers properly. I find the sounds it makes quite unconventional and interesting. The interface looks great and is pretty simple.
Didn’t know what to expect but this is really a lot of fun. I’ve never heard harmonies like the ones I’m making with this. Couple of things that could make this app even better: 1. Octave up and down 2. Limit keys to one key or scale: major, minor, etc. Also I’d pay good money for more instrument sounds and to have 4 tracks at a time going with loop recording, etc.
DEV: I am not sure where the original comment is located. I know you ask if I would remove it, and I want to do that for you... just not sure where? (I will remove this added comment as soon as you read it) again THANK YOU for your reply and fast adding all the AWESOME features! Neat little app, Amazingly easy to use. I commented on version 1 of this app, I made a few suggestions and BOOM! Excellent care taken on this app. I hope the developer makes more synths, effects and musical app attempts. I would gladly help beta test. 😉 ***one thing that would make this app MORE amazing than it already is... add a RECORD function? (Open Mic) 🎤
Also the synth sounds are wonderful! Deep and well textured. I love loop process and it really makes it easy to get started and even has great easy save for songs
Playing around a bit with this app, I can see that I could get something out of it. A bona-fide keyboard layout makes it more musical than other apps I have used—and the recording feature is a nice touch. Unfortunately, the WAV files it generates have zero data, so you’ll have to use an external recorder if you want to save anything.
