Shades of 8th grade science/weather unit but much more fun. This app has added to my daily walks and I'm learning more than I did in 8th grade! The descriptions are helpful (and clever) as are the multiple photos of each type of cloud and I'm having fun with collecting my badges and stars. BUT, I would love 1.) feedback when I get it wrong and 2.) the ability to take a pic and identify later. I don't always have the time or the weather isn't cooperating.
I love using this. But I would like more cloud types and features, like all the different types of cirrus and individual features in a larger formation like fractus. As well as other stuff I don't know about. I'd also like expanded sections on what you can predict about weather and airflow from the clouds and changing formations. I'd be prepared to pay for a higher detail add on to what is already a great app. Thanks for making my days more fun.
I love this App as it keeps me very active and engaged in cloud spotting. However, the "clouds near me" in the cloud stream are firstly no where near me and have not changed in the six months I've had the App! Please tell me how to fix that.....
I love using the app...and enjoy seeing what Cloudspotters around the world have captured!! The “Recently Spotted Near Me” section has displayed the same photos for months. Also, the contributions in this section are nowhere near me. I hope this can be corrected. CAS Supporting member 39,727 (AKA Motherhen in the Cloudspotter App)
Sometimes I take a quick pic of a cloud I want to identify later. It would be a huge plus for me to be able to access my photo library rather than taking the pic in the app.
