User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I sent an email to the developers several weeks ago but no response... I will probably delete this app because it continually disables the open tracking status. I understand that you probably want me to open the app every day for some kind of usage count, but if the app is disabled and I forget to enable before I go out to run errands then it doesn’t track my movements or interactions and it’s useless to me. Otherwise, in theory, it’s nice to have some kind of tracking/interaction app on my phone.
This is the only contact tracing app available for use in California. The Google-Apple technology isn’t being adopted by our state, leaving tech-heavy Californians without a solution. Citizen has made a simple, solid app with one function. It was easy to set up, has a great UI and seems to work great. I won’t know, of course, until myself or someone I’ve been in contact tests positive, but tight now I’m doing everything I can to get widespread adoption of this.
This app does exactly what the framework Apple and Google created is supposed to do: Keep track of other phones you’ve been near, and if one of them reported that they’ve tested positive for COVID-19, you’ll be notified that you should be tested, too. As far as I can see, it’s the only generic contract tracing app available throughout the USA. Get it, and let’s start bringing the numbers down. Oh, and wear your mask and wash your hands!
Ummmm... yes, the app tells you if you came in contact with someone with COVID but it doesn’t tell you when and where. So you have no way of pinpointing exactly where you may have gotten exposed. It literally just counts how many people within your Bluetooth range who may have COVID. Not helping if I don’t know where! Was it work? My kids daycare? The grocery store? Guess I’ll never know
No, they’re not trying to get your information, it didn’t ask me to share anything personal. A great ANONYMOUS way for us to stop the spread. If you’re worried about being tracked, you’re not that special, nobody cares... unless you really do have something to hide.
