Capsule Pharmacy

No offense to Rite Aid, but waiting in line to find out they don't have your med in stock really blows, as does waiting until next week for them to get their shipment. Capsule is probably the only time I've seen an ad in the subway for some service startup that actually turned out to be as great as they say they are. Simply being able to track my scripts and refills in an app is useful, and I love that I get a notification right away when Capsule receives the script from my doc. But the cherry on top is the totally reliable delivery service THAT IS FREE. They offer 2-hour windows until 10 pm and if I need something fast there is always a window available withing the next few hours. Oh and also you can text them with questions or changes or whatever, and they get back to you promptly with helpful and friendly answers. I have no affiliation with Capsule and I almost never write reviews, but Capsule is so great that I want to help make sure they never go out of business!! Once you go Capsule, you'll never go back

For years I’ve been struggling with big name brick and mortar brands like Walgreens and CVS as well as smaller pharmacies, pushed by doctors and insurance carriers, that worked by phone (or had an online dashboard that would make you scream from its complete lack of intuitiveness), and all were the same experience: long phone and in person waits, incompetent staff, incorrect or ignored orders, and unwillingness to be the necessary go-between between the patient and their doctors. Then, one of my doctors suggested trying Capsule...and I’ve never looked back. It’s easy to use, the delivery slots are plentiful (depending on your location), but the best, most crucial part is being able to talk to their pharmacy/customer service team directly by chat - and the response time is almost immediate during office hours. It’s been such a pleasure (imagine that)! For someone who has to take a lot of meds, this has saved me so much time and stress, making this app - this experience - priceless.

I can’t say enough great things about Capsule. I honestly wouldn’t have tried it unless one of my doctors had put me on, but I am so glad she did. Capsule not only conveniently delivers my prescriptions to all of my multiple jobs, but they have a 2 hour delivery window which is extremely reasonable. Capsule has open and easy communication and I have handled everything that I needed via text. I’ve had changes in insurance since I started using Capsule and once I sent a picture of my new insurance card, they handled the rest. I also had a long-standing refill at a pharmacy that no longer accepts my insurance all I had to do was send Capsule a text explaining my situation and my prescription was transferred and delivered to me later that day. Capsule also accepts insurance that many other pharmacies don’t. I rarely take the time to write reviews, even when I am satisfied, but Capsule really makes my life that much easier. The company and the app are both excellent.

I was hesitant to use as my meds *are* so important, but with the customer support being on text it’s so easy. I’m bi-polar with extreme anxiety and am therefore on a very strict med. regimen - living and working in Manhattan makes it tough to be able to get my controlled substance prescriptions - meetings run long and you can’t transfer controlled meds. to different pharmacies that suit my home/office locations. Capsule is a game changer. It takes all the brainwork out of my monthly med pickup (something that used to be surprisingly complicated as a freelancer) my co-pays are actually less and I’m always able to get a same day delivery. As someone who works very hard to treat my illness as any other (diabetics need their insulin, I need my brain meds) but has had issues getting some of my prescriptions in time due to their controlled substance status, Capsule is life changing. Customer support is on top of everything, the UX is superb. Cannot say enough good things about this app.

The first time was perfect but the second time, not so much. I scheduled my delivery for 8-10pm yesterday so I made sure I was home by 8 and waited and waited. I waited until around 10:30 and saw that it was delayed and to contact them so I sent them a message (which of course there was no immediate reply because it was after 10). I was really tired and didn’t want to wait around for something that I didn’t know when it was gonna come (if it came at all) so I went to take a shower. When I came back at around 11pm, I saw a message that the delivery guy was here at like 10:40pm. So that got cancelled so I rescheduled with Sonia for today 8-10pm again and right now it is 10:30pm. I am gonna wait around till 10:45 just so I don’t miss it like yesterday but I really don’t want to wait around for 3 hours each time waiting for my meds. Maybe I made a mistake switching over because while walking to a pharmacy and standing in line was kind of inconvenient, the prescription was always ready on time and I certainly didn’t have to wait 3 hours each day waiting for my medication. WHERE ARE MY MEDS!!!
