Broadcastify

The app does what it says, and we all know this is the best general site for accessing shared scanner feeds. But it seems like no one even gave this app any forethought. When you have a feed playing there’s no way to click back over to it easily without manually tracking the same exact feed down again, no indicators whatsoever. It should act like any other audio player and have a play/pause button and link back to the feed.

This is honestly the best police scanner. They have their own website also. The major benefit of broadcastify is they offer alerts and descriptions of high priority events that you can check under alert feeds. And when swiping through different scanners if they have an important alert it will be visible with a summary of the events taking place.

This is a great app but it’s been glitching as of lately. (Read more) First off, this app is awesome. It is so easy to use and provides hours of entertainment/information without having to keep it on screen. There are not a bunch of trashy adds which is much appreciated and there is a huge selection of cities/providences. Really does make the old days of searching through the original handheld scanners seem so difficult. However, it does not have all the codes like the website so I’m still having to jump over to the site on google in order to decipher the lingo. Also, I’ve had an issue where it stops playing. I know it’s not the channel because it plays perfectly when I check it on the website. Beside that, I highly recommend this app!

I suppose it’s ok but it is supposed to be a Scanner app so what’s the point if it keeps going off-line or if it is subscriber dependent? I have the free app as well as paying for another one because I couldn’t get the locations I wanted because it kept going off-line and Speaking of which I keep stopping every few seconds to few minutes to 10, 15, 20 minutes it decides to quit working just shut off so that I have to keep going back and restarting it so what’s the point. It would be great if it actually worked

When its working its pretty cool. Unfortunately it only plays for about 20 minutes and then either locks up or just stops and have to manually reconnect. If its running in the background I can’t tell when it disconnects at all. I am in a smaller town and long radio silence is not uncommon just annoying that I have to keep checking to see if its on or if theres just nothing going on.
