The app was buggy at best. It stopped accepting payments and would take so long to process an order that your pickup time would be delayed by 20-40 minutes by the time it was done. They just changed their Tuesday wing policy to be dine-in only, so there’s no reason to have the app at all, anymore. On top of that, you can get wings if you dine in, but they won’t let you take home your leftovers. Supposedly they inform you before you order, but that didn’t happen until they restaurant told us they were refusing to take home the few leftover wings that WE ORDERED! The good news is, I’ve been spending way to much money on their overpriced food that isn’t even that good (let’s be honest, besides the sauce, B-Dubs is barely better than fast food) for the last couple of decades. I did wing night every Tuesday for years. Imagine what I can do with all of this extra money! Thank you, B-Dubs, for saving me from myself! Better food for less money is now in my future and I couldn’t be happier about it.
Both of the last 2 times I’ve tried to place an order for pickup on this app (about a month apart) I get an error when I try to confirm the order. Their website does the exact same thing (both times). Get it together B-Dubs. Thankfully there’s a Wingstop just as close to me Update: deleting and reinstalling fixes the issue with not being able to finalize orders. Very annoying. Now when I go to order I get a notice that “no promotional items are available at this time” and, since this is the page where the wings are, I can only order literally anything except wings. Deleting/reinstalling does not fix this. It doesn’t matter if I choose a different restaurant or anything else. I just can’t order wings with the app anymore. The thing this place is named after. There’s no wings section when you go to “full menu.” This app is broken I don’t know why I even still try
I ordered wings for a co-worker and myself for lunch. We work night shift so our lunch is late, 9:30 pm. Ordered through the app, paid online- the app made me pay ahead. I get there and they can’t find the order, the check the computer and the kitchen- nothing. Ask if I have an email confirmation. I didn’t. I thought maybe my order didn’t go through, but I on the app it said “order received” and had a receipt. I couldn’t bring that up either because I checked out as a guest. At this point I couldn’t even wait for them to put the order in because I only get a half hour lunch. So I walked out, with no food. Before I got in my car though I decided to check my credit card app, to see if I got charged, sure enough there was a charge. So the store couldn’t give me a refund and the only proof I had was the charge on my credit card, so I left without food to eat for lunch, wasted my time going there and was charged.
Don’t even bother downloading this application for iOS. Everything works with the exception of one thing... and it’s the most important function of the application. When you go to submit your order on Tuesday or Thursday using the Wing Special, you will get a message saying “Uh oh, we had a technical difficulty processing your order”. I refuse to call any of the three BWW’s near my location because their Managers never provide enough staffing up front, and you get put on hold for five minutes before (hoping) anyone will come back to the phone. It’s very clear Buffalo Wild Wings employees only want to make their tips, and not deal with To-Go orders because every location near me always has this error. If I order anything else which isn’t Thursday/Tuesday wing specials, the system always works. They just don’t want to give a promotional price, I guess.
For a while this app was totally fine. Then about two months or so ago - it just stopped working. I can literally do everything until I hit “check out” then the app goes basically blank, constantly loads, or times out. I always end up having to call the store instead - which usually means being put on hold for a decade. I would ALWAYS prefer to order through an app/online versus calling in because I’m able to create all notes for any substitutions or changes to a menu item. I’m able to set a pick up time. When you call in - you can’t guarantee they understood you and if you tell them a time, more often than not, they put the food in anyway and it’s just waiting or you to arrive. Fix your app or just take it off the market.
